Works with most non-round screws, bolts, hex & square nuts, hooks, etc.
As always, my friend borrowed a few of my tools while I needed something to remove the blade bolt off my lawn mower. It was on there really tight, so I did have to use a bit of WD-40 which helped. After that this Universal Socket Wrench worked like a charm. Also used it to remove a small hook from my fence. This Universal Socket Wrench works with most shapes and sizes except a perfectly round head. So most bolts, wing-nuts, hex nuts, square nuts, eye-screws, cup hooks, lag screws, etc., that are 7mm-19mm (1/4”-3/4”) will fit this. It has a standard 3/8” square hole on the back that will fit a standard ratcheting wrench. It also comes with a drill adapter which has one end fits in back and the other in the drill. It is all chrome with spring loaded pins on the inside. One thing to consider is that this is NOT a pass-through socket and is ONLY 3/8” deep. So always make sure you have the right tool for the job.I would rate this a five star product, however one of the pins gets stuck a bit. Once I bang or shake it a bit, it retracts back. Also, the packaging was very simple and got smashed a bit during shipping, so wouldn’t look nice if it were a gift. The tool was also lightly scuffed. Lastly, there’s no company name printed on it as most tools have. So if there is a problem in the future, there won’t be a company to back this up as it could be anyone’s product. Anyways, with all that being said, this is a really nice universal socket wrench that can truly handle a variety of tasks removing various shapes within the advertised size. A handy little tool.

Great and easy to use! Only had one small issue.
This started working great! I have a lot of small project where I could not reach J hooks or stripped bolts! So I started to use this and it was working great! I was able to get ALL of the screws and bolts out super easy! This universal socket will work with any 7mm-19mm sizes and can easily be used with the drill adapter that comes with it! The only downside that I have experienced so far is the fact that the little pins are slowly going to stop working. I have one pin that is not springing back up like it used to. This solo pin got stuck in the indented position. I used a little bit of WD-40 and that seemed to help a bit but still highly concerned that for everyday use this might not last long. I will give this a 4 out of 5 stars for that issue. Might be an isolated incident.

A lifesaver when you run out of options ....
I had read about these in various blogs for 'hard to remove' bolts & nuts, but honestly I was skeptical, thinking that, at this price, it was more of a late-night TV commercial than a truly useful product. But then I encountered a square drain plug on a garden tractor that defied heat, muscle and, ultimately, brute force with a hammer. After exhausting all options, I attached this to my socket wrench and gave it a try. It worked perfectly! I am a total convert -- great value for the money. Not sure why it's shown as metric only -- I think the concept applies to any size fastener.

The best tool in Santa’s belt on Christmas Eve night!
This was the perfect gift to get myself BEFORE Christmas (which I did) because Santa had a lot of work to do assembling toys on Christmas Eve night and this little gadget made the job SO much easier! It worked perfectly attached to my standard power drill and fit all the different sizes of nuts that came with my sons pedal rally car flawlessly! I LOVE how easy and idiot proof this thing was to use! This will be a staple in my very limited tool box and would make a fantastic gift for anyone. The price is totally on point as well. This is a high quality, durable, sturdy and well made item and I think it will last a very long time! I can highly recommend!

Save money
I am not an expert on socket wrenches. However, my husband assured me that this one tool can minimize the need for all the other sockets that I have pictured. Just imagine the amount of space it will save. Also Imagine the amount of money you can save by having just this one item. A universal socket fit for sure.

SOCKETS FOR DAYS MY MAN
Why buy a 20 set socket when you can get this measly one right here. Fits a wide range of the most common use of sockets you'd need for basic day to day tasks.I like it, but I don't LOVE it. And that is because like someone else said earlier, the pins may eventually fail/get stuck because of possible grease/gunk buildup inside between the pins. The springs may go as well, so while I see this as a great convenience solution, you may still want to have a backup socket set at home just incase the day this thing does go bad. Possibly the pins can grind down, but I personally don't know.I don't even know how you would clean this out incase that did happen. You can't go wrong with buying this one in particular because they all pretty much do the same thing.Would of loved a small ratchet included haha.Overall though, great li'l tool!

Impressed and it works!
I was skeptical that this thing could work but I have been dying to try one since seeing them on TV a while ago. Well the prongs are much stronger than I thought they would be This thing actually works. I still would not use it to torque and to back off a really tightened down blot. But for normal type jobs, this thing works fine. It definitely saves time from having to bust out my entire socket set. This is especially helpful when assembling something. This will get every bolt tightened using a cordless drill and then you can torque the bolts down with a regular wrench.

Handy little simple tool that helps unclutter your workspace! Worked with my power drill!
This is a handy socket wrench to keep in your tool arsenal. It's often very frustrating when I have to be trying on each size to see what would fit, but with this universal socket wrench, there's no need to bring extra attachments. One tool takes care of all the tools, giving you a clean work space. Worked great on some projects where I needed it. However, I haven't tried it yet on screws that are very tight to see if it will hold. On simple projects though, I've had no issues. It's also good to know I can use it on hooks -- or pretty much whatever fits inside it. Very handy to be able to use it with my power drill, considering that it already comes with the right 3/8" attachment. Of course, there are size limitations to using this universal socket wrench. This one can fit anything up to 3/4 inch.
