It's a good toy and I love the idea of it but in reality it's not the most durable thing and the cards being just cardboard means they will quickly become bent, especially in the hands of a 2-4 year old.

This lady does pronounce some words a little fast in my opinion like 'bus', you can just about hear the 'b' sound however I am just glad it is British speaking as I previously purchased another one on Amazon which has an American accent which is useless to us as American's pronounce words differently and have different words for things. Therefore I am very happy with this one.This one is for grandparents house to extend my little ones vocabulary. My little one (a dinosaur lover) saw the dinosaurs on the box and tore the box open then sat playing with it for an hour. They liked pressing the buttons and repeating the words every time they pushed a new card in.There are just three buttons so it is easy to use:1/ Power button2/ Volume button3/ Repeat buttonIf your little one forgets to turn it off, it turns off itself which is fab. We have used it daily at grandparents and not needed to recharge yet. Charging looks simple as a USB charger is supplied with the product.I feel this would make a fabulous gift and it is great value for money. The item is well packaged in a colourful cardboard box which we pack the item away in after use.Very happy with this product and seller.

This product is rather small but provides hours of fun and learning opportunities for children!

I was genuinely surprised that the speech is (for the most part) very clear ...I've included the duck card as an example of where it is less than perfect - the "d" is missing and, for some reason, it's the ONE animal card which does not use an actual sample of the animal noise [well, that an "jellyfish"].It will auto-power-off after, errr, 5ish minutes - which is a bit freaky to hear a voice in your bag saying "I will go to rest now" if you're not expecting it!The volume "button" is a bit unintuitive, but otherwise it's a fantastic educational toy :)
