Heavy duty, unmatched stability
I wish I had this years ago. While it is big and a bit cumbersome, it folds up to a good size, doesnt budge when my 80lb shepherd uses it, and the rubber traction is unmatched and exactly what one needs for peace of mind. If they made it a tad wider, I would buy a second, but still wide enough for a large dog gait as long as you guide them up. Worth it for build quality, stability, and traction 100%.

the rubber textured ridges are amazing and our dog now walks up calmly and even ...
2021 Update!Fantastic Ramp and held up to years of use and abuse and BC winters, rain, mud, sand and two 55lb dogs.I use on a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander on the side door and rear drop down tail gate and our 2009 Honda Civic. I did just recently get a side door adaptor, so I could angle the ramp more away from the door, as our older dogs were starting to struggle with the interior of the car door protruding into the walking surface and it has been made even betterI got the Solvit side door adaptor which is not made for this ramp and I obviously can't attest to the saftly of this, being used on a non compatible ramp but I have found it to be a great fit and it is more than secure enough for two 55 lb dogs.I originally bought the Pet Gear green mat covered bi-fold ramp but my dog was NOT keen on the texture and we found that she could not get her nails in it to grip as described. This ramp is very unique...the rubber textured ridges are amazing and our dog now walks up calmly and even waits half way if I go to stroke her while saying good girl. The other ramp made her rev up first and then dart up like a crazy girl so as to not be on it too long and this action caused a few accidents. It is heavy (to me) and took a bit of getting used to how I needed to position myself for the best way to unfold and fold away. I now have it sorted and while it is still heavy, the way my dogs especially the fussy girl use it, makes that small issue unimportant. I do wish they would make a shorter version as we have a Honda Civic and this longer length isn't needed. It is a tight fit for the rear door on a Honda Civic and has to go at a slight tilt but because the tread is so good the dogs have no issue.I LOVE IT!oh and we even tried it on a hire car Jeep and it was quite steep and I thought my fussy girl wouldn't manage as the other Pet Gear ramp even on a low incline freaked her out, but she went straight up and I could see her gripping her paws into the rubber ridges with no problem and a lot of confidence.

Great rubberized traction, fold up nicely, only weighs 18.5 pounds and is solid!!!
The media could not be loaded. This is the greatest ramp I have ever had for my 60lb, 15 year old dog who is having trouble getting into and out of cars! It has rubberized striations for paws to grip even if moving slow! To get my dog used to this new idea I had to work with it FLAT with Treats. At first he didn’t want to walk on it so I put little treats on it and he got used to the feel on his paws. Then I put it at the front door where there is a slight incline of two steps. Using treats was rewarding and he seemed to not be bothered. Then we hooked it to the back of my SUV and he just needed help on the steeper incline but lots of praise and he was in the car! He used to love rides, but his back legs have become weaker. He hated being lifted up so this was a perfect solution. It’s about 70” long unfolded. It weighs 18.5 lbs and is easy to unfold by leaving it on it's side and swinging it open. They even have instructions on the sides to “Watch out for your fingers” so they don’t get pinched as you close it up which I think is a positive since I didn’t know that could easily happen. Nothing about this caused my dog any discomfort on his pads. Use it flat on the ground with treats or your dogs favorite tennis ball or toy. Don't expect results after opening the box. Let your dog see you walk on it while it's flat and keep it open in the house or outside for a day. Feed your dog on the ramp while it's flat if you need to! Don't force your dog on it, let them get used to seeing, eating off of, or getting their toy of it while it's flat. This training technique gives them ease when you use it! Don't expect a miracle when you open the box! YOU HAVE TO MAKE A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH IT FIRST! I have been a board certified veterinary nurse for 31 years now and this ramp is on my number one Lists!❤️

Rampe au Top
Excellent produit. La qualité des matériaux et des charnières est au rdv. La contrepartie est un poids un peu élevé pour la manipulation. La rampe trouve facilement sa place dans le coffre d'un Nissan X-TRAIL au dos des places arrières avec maintien par un sandow.Mon chien n'a eu aucune appréhension à l'emprunter.Je recommande vivement ce produit.
