Thorough examination of an exploitation of lax American laws as to narcotic prescription through an individual case study. It does not however, sadly, deal at all with the underlying issue of corporate culpability, the fact that the manufacturer, did, and continues to make huge profits from the sale of these drugs. The individuals in this book did not steal these drugs for sale, but legally purchased them, in ever higher amounts, thereby making the manufacturers every increasing profits. this book makes no effort to address this.
