Using Step 1 coarse grit for a few days will knock the edges off the broken glass and give it a matte finish. If you want a smoother, more clear finish, you can then move unto Step 2.

You can use fresh ceramic in Steps 1 and 2 but should knock off the edges in Steps 3 and 4 To do this, tumble the ceramic with a tbs of Step 1 grit for a half a day.

These are used as a filler for your rock tumbler barrel. If your barrel is less than 2/3 full of rocks, use the filler to bring it up to that level. Then put water in the barrel unit everything is covered.
