Factory modified to hide defect! Not so fast!
Edited: After writing this review, I noticed that this knife was modified during manufacturing so it would work with the bent blade! I attached two pics, one with the blade open. If you look at the bottom right of the first pic you can see an air gap. Right at the end, there is a solid blob. Well, that's epoxy they put in there to space the side out so the bent blade can fit when closed. This knife not only came with a bent blade, it was modified so they COULD use and sell it with the bent blade and not waste a blade! Unbelievable. Lowered to one star, item going back. To heck with this, I refuse to be their accepted number of ripped off and unhappy customers.Knife came covered...no, more like DRIPPING in mineral oil. Saturated two paper towels and covered a micro-fiber rag with oil to dry it off. The wood is also now oil saturated and it gets on my hands every time I handle it. I get you want to protect it, but come on!The knife also doesn't look like the picture shown. It has all the materials, features etc, yes, but the details are not there. It's dullishly bland with a fraction of the contrast the picture has. It's just kind of "meh". Not to mention the flipping oil keeps seeping from the seams and cracks when handling and operating it. The knife is also fairly dull. And no, I'm not one of those guys that calls anything less than surgical sharp dull. My kitchen knife sharpened with a cheap drag through sharpener is sharper and the Opinel N8 I just bought is on another planet sharper out of the box. It may not have the same artistic style, but with the beechwood handle it's still a nice knife...for 10 bucks, a no brainer. Finally, the blade is bent about a 1/8" with a light twist. When folded, the tip ends up at the opposite side than the bottom. That's how much the bend is. When open you can clearly see it as well.Yes I get that it's cheap (but not THAT cheap) and the style is very nice. But the workmanship and attention to detail is *just* sloppy enough to ruin the nice design. EeO brands like Elk Ridge for a 3rd of the cost. I would normally just suck it up, but for $30 I'll probably end up returning it. If anything based on the bent blade.

Not up to Poshland's usual quality.
The quality on this one is not nearly as nice as the other knives I purchased from Poshland. The wood is a bit warped and it doesn't look like it was assembled evenly. The blade does not fold out very smoothy at all, but it still looks good and that was my primary reason for purchasing.

Attention Grabber.
Front the decrative blade to the olive wood handle, this knife is well made and beautiful. It has a unique antique style that people gravitate to when you take it out of its sheath. It’s well oiled and very sharp. I would not recommend this for children or people who question wether the blade locks. Definitely worth the purchase price and More. I will buy from this dealer again.

Stunning workmanship.
I got this as a gift for my husband. It was well worth the wait. It is beautiful, well made, and excellent quality. He was thrilled, and thought that I had paid a LOT more than I had for it. I've bought some expensive, top brand knives, that don't stand up to the beauty and quality of this one. I plan to purchase this again for another relative.

Beautiful and very, very sharp! My Birthday Boy is pleased.
Bought this as a Birthday gift for my knife crazy hubby. He'd never owned a Damascus knife and I thought it was beautiful. He loved it. Took it to work to show his crew and all were impressed. For the money, this one is a real winner.

Still a beautiful
Really hard to open and close and I couldn’t adjust the screws on the handle because they were covered in layers of glue or finish. Still a beautiful knife

Gooie.
Good knife, but...* Came covered in a goo that I suppose was meant to protect the metal. The goo softened the wood parts to a bad point.* Screws fell out and some of the parts fell off.Pay more and get something better. Giving more than 1 star as this is a pretty knife.
