Nice skates at a very reasonable price.

The media could not be loaded. According to my 8 year old daughter, these skates have an amazing feel for her feet. She’s in a 2nd session of Learn to Skate, and progressing very well. I enjoy not having to pick up and return stiff, sketchy rental skates every time, as well as skate wherever we like.

My daughter has been skating once a month for a year on rental skates. I bought this affordable skate despite watching many online recommendation videos warning against skates off of Amazon. All of the "experts" recommend softer skates anyway that are not as stiff as pro skates for beginners. At the end of the day price was a huge factor in my buying decision.I'm very pleased to see an improvement in her control on these skates. I attribute this to the sharper edges of the blade compared to the dull rental skates. She's having no issues turning left and right with control.I should have purchased soakers and blade guards to accompany the skates.

These skates are made of really cheap materials and would barely give any support. I didn’t even try them on after taking one look at them out of the box. You’re better off shelling out the extra money for a pair that will last you and give you the support you need while skating.

Go size up and up, my daughter is a size 1 right now, I ordered size 2 for her and it just fit with pair of wool socks, so I returned and ordered size 3 she now has little room so this pair would last at least 2 seasons. for the price I don’t complain, my daughter didn’t complain slightly bit when she had this on for an hour, which never happened before when we had rental.
