As I was pulling the rug out of the box it just didn’t feel the same as my other Water Hog mats I have. In the process of placing on the floor I acccidently rubbed the wall with the edge of the mat and it left a black mark on the wall. While on the floor it didn’t lie flat, there were ripples in it, which would be a tripping hazard. Did not feel like the quality was very good. And to top it off it was 3” shorter than stated on description. Returned it. I have to agree with another reviewer that stated it must be a knock off.

I searched Amazon for non-slip mats, and WaterHog mats were among those listed;I have this brand, and they are great mats with beveled edges on the mats themselves, including a 35" x 35" mat;the two mats from this company came with a different material on all the edges that also raised the edges, and are a tripping hazard;these seem to be knockoffs and unlike my other WaterHog mats.

I've read a couple of the negative reviews and I just have to say - the "ripples/tripping hazards" smooth out after taking the rolled rug from the box and leaving it on the floor for a while... the curves from being shipped in a roll come out. As for the measurements being off - it absolutely tells you in the description of the product the actual measurements vs what they are called. I have three of these rugs for each entryway. This is a great product.

The quality is very high. However, the size is only 35" x 45.5". The size advertised is 36" x 48". We did not get what we paid for.

This is a very sturdy rug! It’s tough material - and that’s really good for our needs!I knew from reading other reviews, that it might not be quite the size it’s advertised to be - and that was the case with my rug as well. My rug is almost 45” wide instead of the advertised 48” (4ft) and it’s almost 100.5” instead of 96” (8ft). This is not a problem for my space - but I wouldn’t have been happy if I needed a true 4’x8’ rug, paid full price, and received the rug that I did. (I got an “Amazon Warehouse” rug, and it was at least half the full price.)If size discrepancy isn’t an issue, and you need a tough rug - this is a good one!

Just received this and think it will be amazing for in my garage to soak up water after rain and snow! The transition from my driveway into the garage is very slippery when it has been raining, I’m pretty sure the garage floor is sealed with something that makes the floor pretty treacherous in those conditions. I got this in the 12’ length to give us a way to step in to the garage slowly and carefully without going sailing across the floor, or worse yet, fall on our butts. I’ve had garage carpet before, but it’s usually very thin, wrinkles and doesn’t stay in place. These seems to grab to the floor pretty well and stay in place. I actually drive over it to get my car in the garage and it didn’t move. I had to order this twice, as the first one got lost in transit, but it seems like it was worth the wait. By the way, this is a little short of the 4’ width I ordered, by about 5”, and while I wish it was exactly the size I ordered, it’s still big enough to do what I need it to do. I think I’m going to be happy with how this functions in my garage.

Bought this because I've had this type of rug before; living in New England it is important to have something that traps and holds the water when people come in with snowy boots in the winter, the lip around the edge holds the water in, so you don't have a mess on the floor and the floor doesn't get wet. The rough mat is perfect for wiping the dirt off your shoes.

I received the package by date promised. I was disappointed that the products was advertised as 6' x 3' but it is about 4 inches shy in length which ended up making the 3 I ordered short for the area I wanted them. I spaced them out so they will work, but wish I'd have know so I could have ordered different sizes to cover the area. Product itself is very good and so far working on the ramp I ordered them for for traction,

I'd like to echo all the other positive comments about these rugs. I bought two of them for my front entrance and they're good looking and durable.In the 3 years I've had them they've stood up well to snowy boots, anti-slip spikes and my big dog's claws scratching them. I'm not sure what she's digging for in the mat, but it doesn't matter! There's no damage to be seen.I shake them outside every couple of months and they look as good as new. I strongly recommend them!

Rug looks and protects great. Rubber surrounds the rug completely and all sides are wedge shaped, creating a deep basin for holding water. Anderson 208 Waterhog Classic Diamond... Rug looks great with the dark brown diamonding of the carpet design.. Thanks, rug is everything and more than I was expecting!

This carpet is sturdy and non slip. It has grooves that capture dirt really well. It feels well made. I’ve bought 2 and both good quality. Hard to vacuum because of the grooves but I don’t mind.

Was exactly what we were looking for. We had just finished major renovations and needed a mat that was well made, durable and looked good in our new entranceway. Spent several weeks looking for somethng that would be the perfect fit and discovered this great product. Nice price too!

I bought this carpet in grey - very happy with both the colour and the construct! Well worth the investment as the backing is solid rubber. My previous carpet damaged the wood floor underneath because it wasn't think enough. I am convinced this one will hold up for several years!
