I have used freesat for years but needed to install a TV in a bedroom where no cable from the dish would reach. I tried an AV sender/receiver with a set downstairs but that was next to useless. I thought I would try this device although thinking that it would be no better than any other indoor aerial with a terrestrial signal from thirty miles away. However, it does work if you can find the sweet spot, and after pirouetting around the bedroom I found a wall to fix the aerial that brings in a hundred freeview stations with a good clear picture and sound. A bargain, and recommended.

Tested in room it was intended for but could just about get a picture by holding it in middle of room. Didn't work at all by window. Tested in downstairs lounge, same sort of problem. I am in North London, approximately 14 miles from transmitter in Crystal Palace. Returning product was made easy by Amazon, just download return label and take to local Collect+ shop. In terms of looks it has smooth lines and would have been easy to attach near window as it has a generous cable. Two stars because returning was so easy

I am very old school and have had so many internal arieals , including the old metal coat hanger stuck in the coaxel cable and nothing seemed to really work unless you stood out side your house facing away from the wind pointing the aerial to the heavens and hoping for a picture. Well with this item I was expecting the same , but I plugged it in to my small HD ready TV followed the simple instructions and set the TV to tune and I watched in amazement as loads of freeview channels plus normal channels were found and stored on my TV. I am now happy that I didn't have to pay a fortune for a multi-room package from one of the leading TV providers. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs this kind of product, you just need to make sure you can connect a USB to the back of your TV, so it would not be any good for old type TV's. Not a bad prodcut but really need a clear line of site with no major walls or building in the way.

This is fantastic. Plug and play, and it did. Received it on time and well packed. Took out the packaging and plug it in and placed the Aerial on the window, brilliant. All depends where you place the Aerial, you still get a good selection of channels. Thank you.

This product is useless. I live within a mile of a mast and it can't pick up signal without being stuck outside my window - it is not an external aerial. It picks up a few channels inside the window, but due to it slimline design, it is very wide and blocks a lot of daylight.Gets absolutely no signal behind my TV, about 2m from the window - which is what it is designed to do.The first time the wind blew the wire fell out of the plastic.

Works well if next to window but poor reception elsewhere
