Cocoblack was the first gel that worked for me, you can use your hand or a comb. It gave me perfect curl so it was a great value. The only thing that I didn't like was the residue after my hair dried.

This product makes my hair feel like potato chips. The product makes the hair very stiff and crunchy, as if you have applied mousse or very powerful gel to the hair. It did curl, but had no sustaining. It felt uncomfortable, and had to be washed out after application. I do not recommend it unfortunately, because it cost a lot of money. I will stick with products that can be purchased state-side.

This has a nice hold. I just started wearing my natural hair. This is the best product so far. Only negative is the black flaking. Black flaky stuff on my cloths, in my sink but the curls are cute. I guess you can’t get a good curl with the flakes.

The residue this product leaves behind is drastic and it’s pretty pricey. I will say that a little goes a long way I think I used about maybe a 1/5 of the container to do my whole head.however it’s very messy wet or dry. my hair takes a while to dry and since it’s recommend to be applied on hair while wet I’m left with black spots dripping all over my clothes, car, pillows, etc. until it dries and if I’d like to restyle it for another day with the product still in my hair it’s the same thing all over again once wet. When it dries which with my hair type took around 5 days to dry completely since your putting product in each tiny section of your hair it’s very flakey and leaves your hair very crunchy and hard to the touch. I would use it again but I’m very rare occasions and would probably end up washing it out within the next few days due to the hassle which would leave me questioning whether it’s worth the price since I wouldn’t get a good usage out of it.

This product is okay I have 4c low porosity hair1st it is very messy because the product is purple so it gets everywhere it does stain and you have to wash everything suggest using gloves to prevent your nails from getting stained. FYI not for people with light hair.2nd once it drys your hair is hard. Your hair is movable but not soft to the touch3rd your hair will be crunchy however I did not experience any flaking4th it layed my edges down like no other and did some grey cover up I have in the frontOverall I think Eco gel is better not as hard, not as messy but I will use this product as an edge controller

This product is really nice for afro hairs, but is flake a lot, however, with and water spray and some serum or oil for your hair it’s gonna be better.

I have use several natural hair products but was not satisfied until I bought this. I is so different from other hair gels I have used. I do not focus on products price as long as it works them the price is worth it. My curls are so beautiful. I get so many compliments on my hair after using this . I make sure I always have an extra. This is a must have
