Pros: Machine is easy to set up. Works as described. Cons: Instruction guide is lacking. It was easier for me to follow the guide on the label inside of the machine instead of the User Manual. I also watched a YouTube video online. The User Manual should have larger photos. It should also explain the difference between Normal and Gentle Pressure and when they should be selected. I was able to figure it out but can understand why some people had issues sealing. They included replacement lower foam gaskets. Also you need to make sure when you close the lid on a bag to seal or vacuum and seal, you need to press hard until it clicks closed. Otherwise it won't vacuum. Overall, it is a good machine for the price. It appears the Supplier is in Canada product is made in China. I don't really care where it's made. But I would expect a Canadian company to do better with instructions and guides in English. I would have rated 5 Stars.

I picked up this vacuum sealer after my previous FoodSaver vacuum sealer broke (2nd time this happened) and I finally got fed up and decided to give Mesliese a shot. I really like the compact size of this unit, literally 1/3 the size of my previous FoodSaver unit, it makes it so much easier to store with my limited cabinet space. The only downside (if you could even call it that) is that it doesn't have an integrated slide cutter, rather a small handheld cutter mounted on the rear of the unit. I was initially concerned about this but the hand held cutter has been perfectly adequate after going through two 8" rolls of bags and some 11" bags. The most important aspect that I love of this little unit is that is still runs/maintains a vacuum during the "Sealing" step of the process, which was where my last unit (FoodSaver) had continual problems of allowing air back into the bag while it was sealing. So far I've probably run about 40 bags through this unit and have yet to have a lost vacuum failure, and with how its designed I don't see that happening. To top it off it comes with a Five Year warranty for peace of mind. All in all a great purchase for only $70.00.

I have tried a few. I will admit most were probably user error. Wasted bags and time. I live alone and still buy like I got a family. So by the time I get to it again. It's all freezer burnt. I didn't need a lot of bells and whistles, just seal and vac and seal. I proudly admit, now I feel like a pro. Works every time, like the first time. I have not wasted my bags, rolls or my time. Seals perfectly. I was looking to see what else I could seal. LOL!

The only reason we didn't give 5 stars is because the machine doesn't always seal the first time.We now can go to Sam's Club and buy bulk pork chops and steak etc then vacuum seal the meats. The power seems to be very strong when sealing the meat. Maybe a user error but so far, we've not seen a lot of difference between the wet or non-wet settings. It does a very good job of preserving the food when we finally pull them out of the freezer. We can't speak to how long food lasts after being sealed as we haven't left anything very long in the freezer once sealed.We liked it so much we bought one for our children as they enjoy vacuum sealing a lot of their food. We we'd definitely recommend this item.

I purchased Mar 3, 202. It lasted one year to the date. The vacuum still works good but the catch will not lock.I contacted the company 3 times per what Amazon said. The company did respond. Unfortunately I never saw it and believed the worst. I do give credit to the company for trying to reach out to customers.Unfortunately this would have been the 3rd different, sealer that we got off Amazon that lasted only a year or less and did put me in a bad mood. Seller did send a new unit out with a 5 year warranty on it. Vary nice of them to do that.

Great customer service. Had my vac sealer for a year when it started having some issues. Contacted Mesliese, they responded in a timely manner, very professional and ended up sending me a replacement unit. Sealer itself seems well constructed, works well and would recommend it if you are looking for a household use vacuum sealer.

How it seals is critical, and with the tabs on other units can break ruining the unit. Not this one. I’ve had to replace my other unit due to the plastic tabs breaking. It’s durable and seals great. It’s a great value for the money. Items like this are not merely a purchase but an investment. You’re using them for hopefully a long time. I was fine with higher price per the reviews.

Small, simple, powerful! I've never used a vacuum sealing machine before, but this made it easy! Our use case is very simple and probably easy (freezing coffee beans), and this handled it like a champ. Comes with everything you need to get up and running, at a great price. I love the small size, makes it easy to store when you're not using it.
