We have an automatic whole house generator, no worries with power outages, right? Wrong. The other evening the power went out and the generator kicked the breaker from a surge during the 'switch' of electrical boxes. Anyway we never had to worry about candles or flashlights and as always, the flash lights are dead when you need them. So I had one lonely camping lantern in the cabinet and I pulled it out and damn if that thing still was working. It's been there for at least 2 years and it shone bright as the first day I received it.I came directly to Amazon and found these lights. I purchase four - for the price of approx. $5 each (with shipping prime) you cannot beat them.As a matter of fact, after showing them to others, I had come back and buy more.I'm not saying the batteries will last 2 years in all of them but stored with some extras, they're perfect for power outages and emergencies. Small, compact, and super bright. AND no worries about fire and flame.

This is great for the price, plus it comes equipped with batteries. It's just like the as seen on tv one, except 1/4 the price. Everyone needs extra lights around the house just in case there's a tsunami or hurricane or ballistic missile headed right at your island!!! This is very useful and compact so you don't always have to be the light that helps others see, when you own it you can just throw it at their head make them see for themselves lol

looked small when opened box but I was super surprised how bright they are for their size perfect for camping they are not super big, take very little room and super bright kids love them too. my 4 year or and 6 year old love these they are bright and small enough for them to handle. also build nicely will order more in future recommending this product

I like how bright they were and they can be use for a number of things. they made great Christmas gifts for my sons and grandchildren. They use them for camping and to take in their cars in case of an emergency. There wasn't anything I didn't like about them

These are great to hang around camp or can be used to carry. You can also close it partially for less light.

Nice deep rugged looking black, super bright lights, carry handle is metal, easy to pull up and down for the amount of light you need, compact enough that if I had to, I could carry one around in my purse.
