Quite a sterdy pen. The tray is not an exact fit so if you leave water or food in the pen with your puppy you might get some on the floor if your puppy gets boisterours. I am happy with it.

The details of this xl cage state: the depth of 34.5" ...however IT IS NOT.I thought it seemed a little narrow, so i measured..and yep..it says 31.5" on tape measure!!Ok its only 3 inches, BUT i should be getting what i pay for.. not less!Height states 35.5" ...yep.Length states 49" ... actual size 49.5"Depth 34.5" ..actual size 31.5"Got for my bluemerle border collie..Wanted the large but wouldnt arrive in time, and as shes due any time..i dint wanna risk waiting, so i got the XL.. apparently??Its meant to be same size as large but several inches taller.Easy to assemble HOWEVER ... quality control is not so good.The 'pins' most were bent, so had to bend back out to straighten.Then i noticed the 2 ends, have a few 'bent' bars in the top bar sections..Ok not really an issue but at near £100 i expected better.The tray is OK... it dosnt slude in or out..but just 'sits' there..guess easy if you dont want/need to use... but does have small gap around it when sat IN cage.Other than these few issues, and the 'lock' bar is difficult to 'slide' ...Its alright..Let down by quality control and inaccurate description!!

Purchased as whelping puppies, not fit for purpose. This is too small and 1 week puppies can climb through the bars. It does not have inner side bars to prevent crushing. Waste of money and going to have to buy another design and large. Might be OK as a dog cage but adult could jump out. Not fit for purpose. Design slides together so if you try to pick up and move it falls apart. Plastic bottom tray is not a tight fit so puppy limbs could get trapped.Waste of money.

On the large side for my puppy chihuahua but spacious enough to play in while doing housework or I used it at bed time for a few months while training him.Will keep for future possibilities of producing puppies as would be a great whelping area and big enough for Mum and pups.

essential - sturdy and does't rust so lasts years , worth extra money compare to cheaper but flimsey ones.good for mums with young pups. visistors like it too. see through to their pupss, the gate is handy.For a cocker spanial with 2 or more pups you're going to need 2 largest pens , sealed waterproof across the middle with duct tape to avoid wee wee leackage.Buy the two at the same time, sometimes over the years when i've bought another pen it seems to be a slightly different size in actuality, so if you don't buy the two at the same time they may not fit together easity.i found the assembly easiest aided by a large flat headed screwdriver to guide the 'prongs' into the holders, as i don't have brilliant eye sight. good with wash able fabric pee pads to cover the whole area and weighed down with tin food cans.Don't buy any other brand, puppy happiness to you

I cancelled the order once, due to reviews but then decided to go ahead and buy it. So glad I did. Our almost 8 months old Cavachon loves the space and she can't escape it, so she's very safe.I agree with other reviews that the tray doesn't fit very well, but it's not a huge issue for us.With the warmer months, she can now sprawl out either on her blankets or the floor of the pen to keep cool. All her toys are in there too, so she won't be bored when we're at work.Highly recommend, providing your dog is on the smaller side.
