They cost as much as the best children's brushes, but they are oil painting length (11-12.5") and while the handles are pretty, the brushes shed too much to use with any adult's project. They do not appear to be double crimped. The fibers seem nice, and the brush heads are full, but they will need to be crimped, and hand crimping usually means the bristles will not lie well enough for painting. I'll likely crimp them to secure the bristles and then give them to relatives' kids.The English in the product description and on the packaging is barely decipherable and may describe many different products that are packaged in the same pouch. It's hard to tell.
