Bought 5 for £30 each..........good price but each of them leaked.Had to cut the threads down as the fibre washers chewed the ends up causing the brittle plastic to break, but as I said for £30 you can't complain.

Smashing bit of kit, make sure you tighten the fixtures to the thing before you tighten to your pipes otherwise you'll never get the right seal. Keeps the system clean, surprising the amount of crud it picks up on the magnet and I'm happy that it is stopping that crud from going in to my main heat exchange.

It was easy for me to install while fitting 22mm boiler pipes. It's a very simple device that has a strainer with a magnet inside. I've cleaned it twice while cleaning my system and quite a lot of crud was trapped.

Item arrived with damage to the filter mesh, and a very weak magnet. Poor quality construction, will need to hope the five year warranty will replace the unit.

The product is cheap but the plastic thread that the brass fitting screws on to is very poor design. Had 2 of these and the thread so easily strips... A metal thread would be so much better.... Leaked after 2 or 3 times of being done up and loosened to clean. Can't recommendPart 2I understand the company has now announced an all brass version of this filter which should eliminate all the problems discussed above. brought a few of them now best thing is you can change the angle so you can fit it in most places

working looks good had to phone the manufactures for instructions oops they dont exist funny printing on the body of the filter arrow one way and turn the body round arrow the other way

Plumber told me they would be around £400 fitted. I fitted myself with a Rolson 22408 22mm pipe cutter. DIY do able
