Just the ticket!
Works great and fairly easy to use. I like some others was at first disappointed as only one of the three units initially showed any signs of life, even after several hours of charging. Then I spotted the "factory reset" button, this is the little black indent just above the week button, a quick poke of this button with a pencil brought the others into life. All three are now happily working. Once charged its a fairly easy task of programming away from the socket before plugging everything in, no need to stoop down to program at all! All in all a great purchase. Last set gave years of service, hopefully these will last just as long.

Very Handy
All three worked fine as long as you follow the printed instructions. Very easy to use once you get the hang of them. Because they are digital, they are silent and pretty accurate. I just wish that there was an LED light to tell you that they're on. Unless you get on your hands and knees, you can't see the display screen once the device is plugged in, but you soon get used to it.Yes, they are a bit fiddly to set up, but here's a few tips:1. There are many combinations of days that you can select, but if you want to use the same set for each of the 10 timer programmes, go through as a first pass and set up all the desired day options for all 10 programmes. That way, you'll avoid making mistakes and, because you get into a routine and can work up a rhythm, it's much easier to do them all one after the other.2. Then, as a second pass, go through to set the on/off times that you want. Again, because you can concentrate on the hours and minutes and don't have to remember the day options, it's much easier to do.3. This may seem a bit geeky, but you can plug one timer into another one to give yourself double the number of on/off settings in a day. I wanted to turn a cooling fan on for 45 minutes and then off for 15 minutes throughout the day, but the 10 settings didn't give me enough range. Using two in tandem gives you endless flexibility, but you need to be canny about choosing the last OFF time and the first ON time, because you need the first timer to stay ON at the end of it's sequence to enable the second timer to have any effect.and vice versa. It takes a bit of working out, but it's great fun, especially if you like a challenge. Hint - set both timers to have the same first ON time on Programme 1 and the same final OFF time on Programme 10, then use one timer to programme the first half of the day and the other to programme the second half of the day.4. It took a while for me to work out what the RST/RCL button did. The instructions are particularly bad on this point. Basically, you can use it to temporally cancel a timer setting and to restore it at a later date. So you can jump over a given on/off sequence if you wish, then put it back later.5. I still don't understand how the Random function works. The instructions are totally unintelligible.Have fun!

Durable and reliable Plug Timers.
Have several of these timers, bought over 12 years ago, same type by different manufacturers that no longer supply them. These are most reliable ones with superb array of timer settings, which work well when you familiarise yourself with the setting up. I had chosen these rather than other plug timers because I used them to switch on misting and spraying pumps in a tropical Hothouse greenhouse, and needed the minimum 1 minute on/off per 8 hour timed function in a 24 hour setup. Various setups can be on certain days, or for all 7 days. There is also a random function. As with most plug timers, they are not suitable for switching high amperage appliances like heaters. The internal PCB mounted battery is the thing that fails eventually, and renders the timer unusable, as it stores all timer settings when mains power is interrupted. This has lasted for up to 8 - 10 years on previous timers of identical look that I've purchased. For those of you who would look to replace these internal PCB batteries by soldering in new ones to keep the timer plugs active, I have tried unsuccessfully to source new ones of exact size and capacity in order to fit back in the case when reassembled. The 'Womble' in me hates throwing away things that I am able to fix! So unless a supplier has now restocked this PCB battery part, you will have a very reliable timer for the money, which may last many years.

Good Quality at a Good Price
Bought to use at Xmas for various lights. Easy to program and did all we wanted. Arrived well packaged and came as 3 separate items in the packaging rather than a triple pack.

A little difficult to get working initially
These are programmable switches with up to 10 different on-off pairs of programming times and days. They charge from the mains and this charge maintains the programmed values when they are removed from the socket or the socket is switched off.I bought 3, to automatically switch off the children's bed lights, which all arrived with the time programmed and charged (or partially charged). They appeared easy to program so I skipped the instructions to the setting of the time and the program and quickly set them up without issue. This was a mistake! One worked straight out of the box the other two required some fiddling *but* this was probably my mistake for not reading the full instructions. It is important that you follow the instructions and not only charge them before use but most importantly to reset them before programming. This seems counter-intuitive since they come with the time programmed and seemly functional but I suspect that they sometimes arrive in odd states and so do not appear to work until they are fully reset and then programmed. All 3 of mine are now working properly. It would probably be helpful if these arrived without the time set and with very prominent instructions to reset them at the top of the instructions to avoid these silly mistakes by people like me who should but don't always read the instructions properly!
