These are the so called "slab bar" or "foot file" type of file. Each file measures approximately 6 1/2" (165 mm) long x 1 3/8" (35 mm) wide x 1/4" (6 mm) thick and weighs over 3 1/2 oz. These files are crafted by hand in the Czech Republic, so dimensions may vary slightly. Each file has two filing surfaces. Tempered crystal glass is the starting material for manufacturing these heavy duty, superior quality, meticulously crafted files. Each file has a beautiful, hand painted, blue rose. Remember, these are hand painted by skilled artisans, so although all will be similar, they will not be exactly identical. The inspection and quality control process involved in these Czech Republic crystal glass files is outstanding! It is second to none! As a result of their anticipated longevity, these Czech files are considered "green," or eco-friendly. Each individual file comes with its own durable, protective, clear, vinyl storage case. These files are easy to clean and keep sanitary. They can be sterilized via all standard methods (heat, autoclave, UV, liquid agents, etc.). Regular use of these files keeps your feet soft, smooth, and sexy! Your iDiva files may be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and mild soap and warm water as needed. Best I've found
I love the glass foot pumice and I like this style the best. Each side has a different grain and it love using them in the water when soaking my feet. I keep breaking them because I'm clumsy and drop them on my hard floors. This is no fault of the product but something to be careful about.

Bought for parrot toenails
I groom my macaws by myself. After trimming toenails, this thick and sturdy file does the trick to smooth off the rough edges. I only wish the abrasive surface covered the entire file. Otherwise perfect.

The words, lead free, were attractive, and better yet the extra wide size was what I wanted. This is the only one with lead free in the description. It's also the only glass file that doesn't result in split nails.
