I use it to break loose brake drums on semi trucks. The grip could be a little beefier to prevent you from throwing it through the wall when your hands are dirty but that hasn't happened yet.

Hammers are hammers. I work with metal, ans=d sometimes metal of good thickness and weight. This hammer moves a multitude with ease. As most things in our time, its made in China. I can't really say Chinese junk, its a good hammer. Its just disapointing that we Americans seem to do more inports than produce it ourselves. It is very difficult to isolate American made items weather on the internet with amazon.com, or at the local tool / hardware stores. It is a good hammer

I didn't want a 10 lb sledgehammer, so I tried this one. It has come in handy so far, and I am glad to have it. It is well made and should last a long time.
