Genuine Honda Parts 17220-RAA-A01 Air Filter for Honda Accord 4D/2D

I have bought this OEM filter many times. The filter is well put together and the material used id sturdy. I have full confidence as I do not see ANY dust inside my air intake.

The stealship wants $35.00 for the same one one. I may wait a bit longer for it but at the end I saved money for my family food.About the seller: I didn't know that they were located in Texas and happened to be my package got delayed due to the winter storm from last month but the seller replied to me and they explained what is going on with the package. Good customer support!!!The installation was 15 minutes task. I disconnected the air intake tube from.the box and the front throttle piece, that will help not to break the smoker or the tube. Also I removed the battery with the plastic drawer, and then slided the old filter out ,clean the plastic box and put everything back together. The differences from then to now is noticeable in every aspect( sounds, gas efficiency, response and time to take to warm up). I definitely will replace it every year not matter how clean looks .

This is the real thing and shipped the next day! Install was easy for me, but I can see how many would have a hard time. After loosening the four bolts holding the filter cover in place, carefully remove the round air intake hose leading to the throttle body. I replaced mine last year, so it was easy, but if yours is original, then it will be brittle and will more than likely be difficult to remove, and will end up cracking/tearing. If you can't see the damage, then it's underneath. This will allow air to enter through the crack, cause the engine to idle rough, and light up your CEL/check engine light. Other than that, lift off the air cover/lid, remove the old filter, and drop in the new one. It only fits in one way, so you can't get it wrong!Again, if your car doesn't run right after install, then you tore the rubber intake tube... No worries, Amazon sells replacements.

Honda genuine! Arrived quickly and on time. A little difficult to install, but that's because Honda decided to make the air box hard to open on this vehicle. Saved a chunk of change by ordering this and having a friend help me put it in. 10/10 will do again.

Ordered Honda Genuine Parts for my older Honda. It important to me to find genuine parts. Although my vehicle is 17+ years old, I attribute its long life to using genuine parts and maintaining the recommended maintenance schedule outlined by the manufacturer. Thanks for providing that for me.

OEM is always best! 2004 Honda Accord, 2.4 4dr EX. Hard to install because of the placement of the cars battery and the fasteners, no issues with the filter itself.

With the current events of 2020, this saves a stop outside of home .Far superior to the discount chain parts store replacement piece .
