Safe One Handed Shooting
I wanted something to use for safe, one handed street photography. This as it comes is okay, but I don't always use a camera this way and it is a bit of a chore to fit it on and off. I have connected the strap end to a quick release clip, which combined with the tripod screw makes for rapid fitting and removal. ( Importer please note and pass it on). The product is dinky enough to fold up and be stored in my small Micro 4/3 kit bag when not in use. There was at least one review reporting flimsyness, but I picked up a 30kg weight with it and the construction passed the test. My first attempt at street photography was successful although I sometimes I had to use my thumb rather than my index finger to press the shutter release. I may have been able to adjust for this, but I preferred to get the really tight grip on my new camera that this grip delivered. I am pleased with this product.

Camera l find much more comfortable.
I only used the screw inthe bottom of the cameras as l find the accessory grip makes the camera to big and defeats having a smaller camera. I had the OLYMPUS side stap which fitted on it perfectly. Also the neck strap tells the world you have camera worth money. With the side strap its just perfect for me no cameras hanging around your neck just a top load case on your front belt. Great for traveling. If l was to make it perfect the part on the bottom could be a little longer but it's not a problem. Hope this helps.

Waste of my money...
Arrived with no way of securing the strap on the camera! It needs a plastic ring to put the excess strap through. This would allow me to tighten the padded leather strap securely to the attachment on the camera body. You’re left with two nylon straps with nothing to secure them with? Maybe I was just unlucky and everyone else got something to fold the two ends through? I wasted my money buying this item, shame because in principle it’s a great idea! I need to find a couple of bands to stop the strap falling off it’s anchor

Camera feels very secure but shutter button is left just out of reach
Only ok for my camera (Nikon D3300) but can see it better on others. Why? I like the strap snug and the natural position that leaves my hand in (which indeed feels very good, snug and safe), unfortunately prevents easy access to the shutter button with my finger. I have to have the strap more lose to allow the backward tilt of my hand to bring my finger over the shutter button. Notwithstanding that, it was comfortable to carry the camera around with and I would take it out again, its just not first choice of strap.

Disappointed
The handle has a wonderful grip BUT it keeps undoing resulting in the camera falling, which NO PHOTOGRAPHER WANTS or anyone which a camera! I've been testing it's capabilites while on vacation and was very disappointed by the security.

Nearly perfect, but not quiet there.
Works well but the base slightly covers the battery cover on my Canon 5d mk3. You can, however easily undo the screw to pivot the base. I would have sxored it 5 stars if they had fixed this issue.

Gripping stuff!!!
Excellent item. I have mild osteo in my right hand and my 7200 was getting heavy, carrying it around airshows. Put Hand Grip on and it is a relief, sheer relief. Too a while to work out how to hook up the strap - watched a video on youtube - sorted. Thanks, would highly recommend.
