Wonder No Longer! Why Your "Check Engine" Light is On!
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and admit that I was not really expecting much for what this thing cost. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and worked as promised! I used it with my android phone and I went ahead and downloaded the Torque Pro app for $4.95 to use with it. To sum it all up, the device arrived, I downloaded the app, I plugged the device into my car, it paired with my phone without any issues, I read the trouble code that was caused my "Check Engine" light to come on, it told me the O2 sensor was bad, I watched a quick YouTube video on swapping the senor out, I purchased the sensor, I swapped it out, problem solved. It also occurred to me that this device would also protect you from dishonest mechanics that may try and sell you a flux capacitor when really you only need to change your air filter.

Works great
Let me start by saying this is not a programmer, it is a scanner. You cant tune your car with it.I have been using this on an 2004 Mini Cooper S, 2006 Dodge Ram Diesel, and a 2011 Silverado LT with no problems. It reads the current sensor data and error codes and can reset the codes.Be aware not all features of an app will work on all cars. Its not the scanners fault if your vehicle doesn't monitor the data. My Dodge wont show the fuel pressure since Dodge didn't implement it but my Mini and Silverado do.Its cheap and it works. What do you have to lose?

Works on Dodge
I had an iDiagnose brand from Amazon for a number of years that worked fine. While looking at Dodge minivans from 2008 through 2012, the iDiagnose would not connect. I needed to be able to check the emissions status, as many unscrupulous people will reset the computer to hide a problem. This OBD dongle did work with the Dodges using both Torque Lite, and did catch some hidden problems.

Great OBDII interface
Works perfectly to interface with any OBDII car (all cars after the mid 1990s). It allows your phone to connect to the car via bluetooth to run apps like Torque which let you monitor trouble codes and engine parameters. There are plenty of free apps out there for this, including Torque. I'd recommend buying the paid version if you really like it in order to support the designers.

don't buy if you're not 100% sure it suitable for your car
Bought it for Opel Crossland x, and it instantly caused "check engine" light for no reason, then cause a real fault on the gear (seriously! it made the car to begin riding on 3rd gear. lucky it happened while I was parking) and other random faults which all stoped only after I disconnected the bed and turned off the car for 5 min (all the faults it warned or caused vanished), so be careful.

does not work
I have the obd2 phone app which I also paid ten dollars for and the wifi plug in adapter does not work--nothing makes it work and the phone app and any wifi signal do not exist. The phone app sees no wifi signal at all--this blue plug in thing simply does not work now I have to go through a big return for a cheap item. It arrives just in a bag with a disk and no instructions. I assume you plug it in then start the vehicle and try to locate a wifi signal.

Didn't work with Nissan Leaf
I got this to use with Leafspy (and my 15 NissanLeaf). Unfortunately, it could not connect to the app or my car. The device worked on my 2012 Toyota Yaris and various other Android apps.

Buy one you’ll love it
I use it allll the time. I love this thing. I pair it with torque pro and even dealer brand obd apps and you can do anything accept bidirectional functionality. I love the live data capabilities with no wires. Straight to cell phone or tablet with the ability to record or freeze data depending which app you use.

Poor and Unreliable
This is by far the most screwed up and low quality product ever. Worked once, was laggy and poor quality of construction. Don't waste your money on it .

Not a great unit
This OBDII BT reader never really worked with my pixel 3. I was using Torque pro (the paid version) and it refused to show me any fault codes, or read any "realtime data" it said it was connected, and that is was reading the ECM, but no joy. Going to buy a handheld unit now. I was using it on a 2011 Kia Sorento AWD

Works as described
Used it to read engine codes on my sentra. Works as described and works with popular free OBDII programs in the play store. Given how cheap it is, it's a no brainer to get, and pays for itself about 7 times over the first time you avoid the garage needing to hook up their reader to tell you the engine light is something simple.
