Works perfectly to reach cargo in a dually truck from the side without scratching the paint.
I was skeptical about this ladder, but I needed something to fit over tires so I can reach cargo in the bed of my GMC 3500HD truck (Dually). The back end of the dually is wide. There is no way to reach inside of the bed from the side without leaning against the bed, which would certainly lead to scratching the heck out of the paint with belt buckles. This step works perfectly. Fits over my large tires and still holds a sufficient angle to climb up without needing support. Another use case I have is when I need to put DEF fluid into the super small filler hole by the firewall under the hood. It is impossible to reach from the front. Again not wanting to scratch the paint with my belt buckle, this ladder gets me up and into the engine compartment no problem. Makes it a breeze to fill and check fluids (Radiator, Oil, Window Washer, etc). Some may be thinking a step ladder works just the same...and it would. However, it is hard to get them as close to the vehicle as a ladder that is directly leaning on the tire. The angle of the steps go toward the truck, vs a small ladder would have to point along the side of the truck. This ladder puts you at least 12 inches closer than a standard step ladder. Finally, the last thing that I really like about this ladder is it closes up very small. I bungie chord it just inside of the tailgate on the truck. Makes it very easy to reach when I need it and keeps it out of the way when I don't.

Had to provide own bolts
Easy to put together and really handy, except for the fact that 4 of the bolts were missing threads. Particularly disappointing in light of having waited 2 months for these to arrive.

Doesn’t work well on uneven ground.
This product is bulky and takes up a ton of space. It also got stuck on my rear tire on a trip and took about 20min to dislodge because of uneven ground. I bought it because of the weight limit, but really hate it. Will purchase through Subaru next time. I have an Outback. This is designed for suvs and trucks with larger wheels.

A little heavier than I thought but well made and sturdy. It make it so much easier to reach in the bed of the truck to unhook the fifth wheel. Money well spent.

Won't fit tall tires
It fits my CR-V and my sons Nissan Frontier but won't fit over my Ram 1500 4X4 tires
