Other negative reviews concerned me, but it's exactly what is in the photos-- 100% crystal clear acrylic. The actual rack has a protective cloudy film on both sides that needs to be peeled away to expose the clear acrylic. The base is actually wider than it appears in the photos. I do recommend laying the base on a flat surface, and then gently tapping the rack in place, otherwise the legs might push through the base and then it's tough to undo without accidently breaking it. I'm happy with it and it looks great.

Looks nice with earrings for sale in a case but it is very flimsy.The stand just inserts into the base but does not lock in place and easily slips out if you lift it by the top portion, and it rocks back and forth. I don't think it will fall over but it's not something I would leave out on a counter for customers. I use it in a locked case so it's not being handled very much.Also the protective paper film on the base was a nightmare to remove, shredded into a million tiny pieces each time you try to tear it away.

This product came with multiple manufacturing defects (holes did not go all the way through the acrylic rendering half of the spots for earrings useless, scratches across the front of the product, and one of the sides was cracked). The only positive was that the acrylic part balances nicely inside the base. This earring holder was a waste of money, and with gas prices the way they are, it's not even worth driving to a drop-off location to return this and get my money back.

Came in little black plastic bundled up couldn't assemble for us make us do it ourselves silly. Defective plastic stand does not fit crossbar. Have to return and see if the second one will actually work. Quite disappointing
