Great Item! Must have for scale modelers.
My old Paasche D500 compressor was giving me fits spraying the new acrylics on the market. There was much sputtering of my air brush and I continually had paint blobs from moisture on my finishes. I bought the Paasche R-75 hoping to rectify this situation. I am pleased to report that the R-75 performed just as Paasche says it will. The R-75 allows me to dial down the pressure to as low as 5lbs. PSI and there is no more moisture in the line either. Now a caveat... if you own an older Paasche D500 compressor you will need to go to your local hardware store and purchase a 1/4" x 4" nipple. The Regulator and gauge will not fit on the older style compressors. A lot of newer rigs come with this already installed. I live in a very high humidity area and the Paasche R-75 Moisture trap is a wonderful item.Overall I would give this item 10 stars if I could.

Works great with Badger 150
I got this after experiencing several problems with units multiple of the the Badger version of this same regulator. The Paasche regulator not only comes with the correct male/female 1/4-NPT standard threaded compressor fittings and teflon tape to hook up "out of the box" but it is cheaper as well! The female threaded fitting goes onto the compressor (or tool quick-connect) and the other side has a male fitting for you to screw the air-brush hose onto. Comes with a 100PSI gauge that threads into a 1/8" NPT hole on the side of the regulator. My one and only wish is that the bottom "drain" fitting was less sharp for your fingers but this is easily dealt with putting a rubber bumper/cover with a small hole over the end - it looks like a fitting that could accept a drain hose.

Good product for a reasonable price
This is the second Paasche regulator with moisture trap that I have purchased. Both were easy to instal on my small tank air compressors that I have set up for airbush painting. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that when I received the second one [ which I thought I would save some money by purchasing a used (like new) item that was discounted at about $5.00 off], the valve handle was jammed and would not turn. This is probaboy why it had been returned and was therefore an open-box item when I purchased it for a discount. I decided to wrap a rag around the plastic handle and use a pair of channel locks to gently get the handle to start turning, and once it started to turn, everything functioned fine from then on. I am not sure how it got jammed that tight to start with.

Does NOT leak air in use
One of the prior reviews states that this regulator controls pressure by leaking excess air. This made me hesitant about buying one, but having done so I can confirm that a properly functioning regulator does NOT leak air.I have this regulator hooked up to a shop air compressor. The compressor builds up 200 PSI in its tank, the compressor's regulator dials it down to 60 PSI to supply to the Paasche regulator, and the Paasche brings it down to 20PSI for airbrushing. This way I can fill the air compressor in about two minutes, then shut it off and airbush for an hour or more. This would not be doable if the regulator were venting air the entire time. This is a quality product that was easy to set up and is easy to use.

Works perfectly with Paasche airbrushes
I was a bit concerned about this regulator after reading some of the reviews but decided to buy it since I use Paasche brushes and didn't think I'd have some of the issues others were having with adapters. The fit on my No-name compressor (I broke the original) was flawless and it works as it should. Now I don't have to use an adapter on my hose as it all works together now.

Good Upgrade for an Old Compressor
I bought this to replace a much older regulator/trap combo that was no longer working. It's much nicer than the old unit - seems sturdier, better finished, and versatile. I did not need to use adapters for the meter or my airbrush hose. A nice touch is the included pressure meter: it has a 0-60 scale rather than the 0-100 scale that came with my old regulator. That helps me adjust the pressure more accurately. Overall, I really like this regulator and expect it to last as long as the old one did.

Doesn't fit my Paasche D500 compressor
Check this out--I have a Paasche VL airbrush, a Paasche VL3 airbrush, with a Paasche hose, and a Paasche D500 compressor and wanted to attach this Paasche R-75 Moisture Trap/Regulator because the D500 diaphragm compressor only had a bleed valve to "regulate" the air pressure and I had no idea what the actual pressure was. Everything regarding airbrushes I own is from Paasche. This should have been Plug 'n Play. This thing has one brass fitting installed which is stuck like a Democrat to a Welfare Check. Which is to say, they cannot be separated. It cannot be physically installed as configured to my compressor. I saw a YouTube video where a guy had a D500 compressor with this R-75 attached. Unlike my D500, this was a piston compressor and the air outlet was now situated at the opposite end of the housing, unlike mine. So, if you have a D500 diaphragm type compressor (no piston) you might be in luck. I was not in luck, and this evening ordered a nice Iwata compressor instead.
