The Portland Collection: Contra Dance Music in the Pacific Northwest, Volume 2

Outstanding contradance tune collection.

Has many of the tunes played by my folk jam group. I like the well designed metal spiral binding which is sturdy, doesn't fall apart like the plastic bindings do. You can fold back the book on any page easily and it will lie flat.

I play with a group of musicians that use Portland Collection I, II, and III. Simple, large and easy to read, with spiral binding. The only thing I really need is the book in digital format to use on my tablet.

Great addition to the first volume! Simple and clear arrangements to a well rounded list of folk and contra tunes.Some of the chord arrangements are a little different from other books, but nice.

Accurate transcriptions of many of the tunes played in the Northwest with chords and background information as well - a welcome addition to any player's collection!

Oh man are we enjoying these books. They come out at almost every jam session.
