Wouldn't keep a charge
I really wanted to like this product and I really wanted it to work since I walk a lot and like to keep my phone charged in case of emergency. Unfortunately this solar charger didn't live up to expectations. I kept it in the bright sun even though it said it would pick up ambient light and it wouldn't charge my phone. Very disappointed.

Works.
I've had this for a long time now. Still works great, charges my s9 a solid 5 times. The solar charge is enough for half a phone charge over 5 days of sunlight. Soo that could be better. It's a small panel, can't expect too much.

Only used about 5 times but still good. Solar charge isnt great but better than nothing.

Life Saver or better Phone Saver
I can charge it up, take it out on plane trips, backpaking trips ect. Backpacking it's great to have to recharge your phone that's got to be on for GPS and Route Tracking. The Solar charge is great. Not super fast to recharge, but If you've charged it up all the way, then charge your phone, then next day hook it to your backpack (I had to create a holder) and it can charge up while out on the trail. I can get about 5 charges for my Note 8.

less than 2 years old - dead
Unit is less than 2 years old and we only used it once to check it after we first got it. Now it's dead.

Worked once....
Never from solar. I think it was BS. Very heavy.....but if it actually worked by solar...would have been worth ....trash.
