Does not stay attached. Could use some improvements.
Was very excited to receive these.Pros. Give off good amount of bright LED lightEasy to install.Like having the option to mount them in with acres or the double sided adhesive tape provided.Like the 360 degree rotating bar you can easily adjust.CONS.- Make sure you know where you want it to stick to when mounting because it either doesn't easily come off or will not stick and stay securely when trying to reposition it after taking it off and reapplying it.- Does not come with any extra double sided adhesive stickers.- I got shorted on a set of screws for one of the light strips.- wish it may have been a little longer to the sensor and button had been placed on the underside of the light bar to leave more room for more LED lights.- Also be prepared to have at least (6) AA batteries on hand (3 for each light bar) batteries are not included and light bars are not rechargeable.I installed mine last night in my closest. Woke up and opened my closet door to find this. (Pictured)Very disappointed considering I am temporarily renting an apt. and am not sure of their terms about drilling and making holes in walls. (Not that it much matters since I wasn't even provided enough screws with my order to mount the lights if I was even allowed) and extra adhesive stickers weren't included nor do I have laying around here to help fix the problem.UPDATE On my review! My 1st light fell from my closet on the left side. I was in a rush to get ready for work and didn't think anything of it when the other side wasn't lighting up as I was making noting in my closet. Just assumed I maybe wasn't close enough to sensor, but didn't put much more thought or effort into why, since I only needed clothes from left side of closet that I couldn't see in because I was in a hurry for work and frustrated the new light I just bought and put up was broke on my floor and I couldn't see in my closet.Anyways woke up this morning to find the light I put up in the right side of My closet broken on the floor also. (Explains why it wasn't turning on yesterday!) Now I have 2 broken lights and no extra adhesive stickers to try and reapply.I was also shorted on a set of screw. So even if this apt. complex let me make holes in the walls I wouldn't be able to.Am now very disappointed in this product.

Works well, hardware is questionable.
I used these lights in two different closets. Based upon the reviews, I didn't leave them on for the motion sensor and just push the button when I need light. Installation wasn't too hard. I actually removed the metal part on the light and used the screw holes as a template. I took a bigger/sharper screw and drilled it into those holes, removed them, and then placed the regular screws that came with the product. By doing that, the lights were easy to install. However, one of the small screws for hanging the product stripped just from using a handheld screw driver and the head broke off! I used some of the provided mounting tape to fix just that side of it, and it didn't really work. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store to hopefully find a screw that will get the job done. Other than that, I've had no other problems and these lights do a good job of illuminating my closets when I need it.

Just okay...
Well, they work fine for the most part. People have left reviews highlighting the problem these suck up a lot of batteries which is unusual because LEDs are famous for being energy efficient. My gripe is with the sensors which are faulty. Normally I shut (and keep them) off manually because I know if I let them do their automatic trick... they work as advertised but also when nothing triggers them. I have them angled down but they'll still kick on when I'm in another room! This has led to batteries dying rather fast so I have no other choice but to leave them off and treat them like those puck lights we see everywhere. Just too sensitive to keep them on standby.Use screws, not the adhesive bits to mount them. Even in climate controlled areas they seem to lose their stickiness after a short while... or consider name brand product such as 3M found in any store with a crafting/home department.

Good light, bad installation/mounting
Light is very bright and I am happy with it in typical on/off mode. It is too sensitive in the auto-shut off mode, which I was hoping to use, but it goes off too quickly (10 seconds?) and turns itself on if there is a breeze coming through my window, while the louvered closet doors are closed or if I walk by 8 ft away (again, doors closed).I've been using them for about 3 weeks so I'm not sure about the battery life.Installing them was difficult and I'll assemble and install anything. They comes with small screws, but not a template. The bracket is mounted very closely to the light unit so you can't mark your wood/wall with a pencil first. Even trying to make a paper template first was very difficult. Get your ruler out. They also come with foamy mounting strips but they only worked for 5 minutes on a clean, dry, smooth surface and both light units fell off.

Perfect Solution
I originally ordered a pack of two for my boys' closets. While my husband is an electrician, running power and lights was not a viable option to light the interior of the closets. These fantastic gadgets however, are phenomenal! We chose to use the adhesive patch and so far, it's holding up very well.... My plan is to replace with command strips if the included adhesive strips ever fail. The lights come on when the door opens and will turn off automatically. If they are still in the closet, a simple wave of the arm towards the bar turns the light back on. Perfect for two kids who forget what light switches are.I will be getting additional lights for other storage areas where running electricity isn't viable.
