Reel would need changing or upgrading as the construction is very entry level as expected.

I've used this for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems with it. The reel is smooth and the rod sensitive, but strong. The line is an unexpected mess when you first start, but straightens out after you cast it a few times.DO THIS FIRST: Make sure you turn the switch at the bottom of the reel from right to left in order to lock it in place so it doesn't allow it to openly spinning in either direction and complicating the mess. This isn't indicated and I had a hard time with it until I found it and put it in the right direction. It made life so much easier after that.As for the people that buy this and then replace the line immediately, it does have kinks/coils and makes a mess if you're not careful with it. That said, you have to expect this to happen and I don't understand why you'd by a pre-spooled reel if you're simply going to replace it.

Es la segunda vez que pido este producto y de nuevo lo regreso por que envian la caña incompleta es una pena por que se ve de buena calidad el carrete se siente solido pero la mitad de una caña no sirve para nada.....VAN DOS VECES

I’ve caught the most bass with this rod Never gave me any issues or tangles and it’s lightweight and can hold up to 3-5 pound bass And cast very far No wonder they call it the slingshot also good price !
