Island Bay Verona Steel Arc Hammock Stand

I loved the look of the hammock, wanted something stylish, and took the risk of buying something that had not been reviewed... I assumed that with the price point it would be a sturdy, good quality product. Well, it does look good. But at each of the joints (just outside the 'feet'), the curved pole 'swings' with the hammock!! About 5 inches each way! I understand that some motion is to be expected, but this just feels too much for what I paid. I'm sure it won't break or anything, but it just not feel solid and sturdy or good quality. I contacted customer service and they told me "what you are describing is similar to normal behavior we see in metal hammock stands". Well I've sat in other (less attractive) metal stands and the motion was more of a gentle give of the metal, not a swinging inside a joint. My husband had already tossed out the boxes, so I cannot be bothered to go through the process of finding other giant boxes to send them back (by the way terrible packaging from this company, the box arrived with metal bits of the hammock sticking out of the box... mentioned it to customer service and the literally did not comment). Anyway, I can live with it, and will live with it, but I was just really disappointed in the quality of the product so I would not recommend.PS on the plus side it was very easy to assemble.
