OticonSmart Charger

It should come standard. My last 2 sets of Beltone did. I find price very high for this that others come standard with. Having said that, the portability is nice when other charger or AC is not available.It quit working today. Lasted 5 months. Right channel stopped charging. I cleaned it with Q-tips but no luck.Edit 8-15-24 It turns out the charger just needed to be charged. It was left on charge 24/7 but for some reason stopped charging my hearing aids. I wound up letting battery drain on its own for a couple of hours then plugging it back in. That seemed to do it as lights on back of charger turned green slowly and it started charging again.

My husband's hearing aids came with this incredible Smart charger. Mine did not. Instead they gave me an open charger that doesn't secure and protect my hearing aids and they gave me a separate battery pack. This new charger takes the place of those two devices and protects my hearing aids in the process, as well as giving me a 3 times charge, making it perfect for travel and home use: plugged in at home so it is always ready and up to three full charges for a 3 day trip. The Smart Charger arrived yesterday and will have its first on-the-road test tomorrow! So excited to not have to haul both the charging device, a heavy external battery pack, and the attendant cables! Bonus: it is less expensive here than through the company! Yeah!

I searched internet to find battery charger for Oticon Intent 1 to use when I travel. This is the first one that came up…and it was on Amazon. Love Amazon! Looks like just what I was looking for. Ordered it, cost $242. Received it in less than a week. Read the instructions…set it aside till ready to use. Charged it up. Went to put my hearing aids in. Not for the Intent 1 at all. Holes to put hearing aids in way to small. Can’t return it because of course no longer have the packaging. My fault, should have hunted deeper into the description. Maybe in the future Amazon can put right up front in description what models item covers.

Expensive, and worth it. Everything about Oticon hearing aids are is super pricy and this is no exception. But if you're on the go, it's a lifesaver. Works great. It''s large and heavy however. Be ready for that. I'm pleased I bought this and I won't be left deaf anymore for lack of a charge!

Already saw great reviews on this, but on top of them I wanted to confirm - This Smart Charger does work with the Oticon Real 2 miniRITE R series!

This is the third of these devices I have purchased and tried. In my experience they have all suffered from a thorough lack of dependability. I can place my Oticon hearing aids in a fully charged case and find them at 35% the following morning. I put them back in and within an hour-often sooner-they are charged. Other times, they work fine. I keep the case only because they are great for travel and can do the job of charging if I manage they to compensate for their undependability.

Been looking for one of these for 2 years. The price was, finally, right & ordered as soon as I saw them. The charger works very well with my Oticon MiniRite R aids.
