I've had fungus on my toes for eight months. I tried this product for about 2 months and was very consistent, using it twice a day. Progress has been very slow. I'm finally desperate, and I'm writing this article so that people with toe or nail fungus don't waste months on this product like I did.

I received this four days ago. I have fungus on/under the nail of a big toe that seems be in the nail bed. It grows a nail, significantly thicker that the other, healthy big toe. I have been using this KTS light at least 6 times a day and it's been operating just fine. (I figure I'll use it less often, going down to twice a day after a while.) The timer turns it off just shy of 7 minutes.Over the past 7 years, I've mostly used and still use terbinafine (Lamisil), but also tea tree oil, debridement, and Imperial Feet. I've been pretty good at doing it regularly and it can help, but the fungus kept coming back. And I just learned that the most common fungusthat causes onychomycosis is now resistant to terbinafine. Ugh!The picture is after 4 days and no noticable change. (The nail is chewed up from past debridement and yesterday clipping the unhealthy nail.) But am in this for the long-haul. The device hasn't hurt my big toe, except one, when I put it in the device further than I believe is needed. The circumference of that toe is 3.5" and FYI I'm 5'11" and weigh 160 lbs.I have one concern/disappointment. I paid significantly more (~$87 with tax) for this product because of and in reliance on its 90 day guarantee, even though I could find it elsewhere or similar on Amazon for much less. The description states, "90-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE – We think KTS Fungus Treatment is a fantastic product but if you aren’t satisfied, simply contact our customer support team for a full refund." But I just noticed that, even after a thorough search on Amazon and elsewhere I can't find any contact information for KTS, and in reference to my order Amazon says that I only have one month for return/refund. I just posted a question asking KTS for its contact information. My fingers are crossed. I will be concerned if KTS does not provide it publicly.

Arrived quickly

It arrived promptly. The packaging is pretty and feels nice, like something you would buy as a gift. (I would just as soon have had it come in an ordinary box and cost a couple dollars less.)All the parts were there (the charger, the cable, and the device itself). It charges as it's supposed to. It produces light as it's supposed to. It turns off after seven minutes, as stated in the product description. It's effortless to use. It's comfortable to have on my toe for seven minutes. I'm only giving four stars instead of five because it's not quite as bright as I'd imagined, but it's still a fairly bright light. I don't feel any noticeable warmth from the infrared.There are a lot of reviews on similar devices, saying they didn't help, and a lot saying they did. Until you try it, there's no way of knowing whether it will actually do any good. Onychomycosis can be caused by any of a wide range of fungi, some of which are completely unaffected by light. For most of them, it's not known whether light is useful or not, so even if you could get your doctor to order a PCR test to identify what fungus is affecting your nails (which is more hassle and expense than just buying the device and using it), you probably still wouldn't know whether it was going to do any good. So if you buy this and it doesn't help, it's probably just a matter of which fungus you have.

I have a transplanted organ and my immune system is permanently reduced. I cannot fight nail fungus and I can't take the meds other people can take. My only choice was topical expensive meds and they did not work. I have lost this toenail once completely, and it was all starting again. Skin doctor told me to give up but in passing mentioned "even in the winter, you need that nail in sunlight." That gave me the idea to look for something like this. I stopped the topical med. You can see that the fungus keeps trying to come back every day, but LOOK! I use this once a day on this toe. IT WORKS. I use it for two cycles each day.

I’ve been using this stuff for over 2 months now. It doesn’t work!!!!!! I’m so disappointed. My toe itches, burns, & toenail is still brownish. I was told to try this first. Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I’m going to the doctor to get something better.

I'm still waiting for the results. I know it will take time.
