Pinz - Set of 8 Duvet Fasteners - Perfect for 2 Beds! (8, White Cloth)

Worked really well, I accidentally locked 2 of them and they bent trying to unlock them so now I have safety pins there instead of the pins. They really work but are hard as heck to open.

Only half of them didn't break when trying to get them apart. The ones that I could use work well.

I should have read the 1 stars.....Loved the look..Was using them to keep one blanket folded in half for my husband's side to the thin quilt...went on ok but I had to engage my husband to destroy them to get them off!!! UGH!!!! I really wanted to like them...If you can wash your duvet and use the same insides I think they will wash ok...no pins exposed to ruin other items in the washer/dryer...

Most of the pins were bent and or broken out of 8 2 were broken and one was bent.

6 of the 8 pins worked great. 2 were broken so not useable

These do what they say - keep your down comforter and duvet together, so that you don't end up with a clump of comforter in one corner of your duvet at the end of each night. However, I used all 8 and still felt some slipping. Also, they do keep both pieces together, but so much so, that when they were pulling in opposite directions at one point, the pin ripped my duvet. I guess that's not necessarily the product's fault, but still - there's a hole in my duvet that wasn't there before. Overall, not a bad solution to a problem, but also not the best.

Update a month in (one star):As expected, when I tried to remove them to wash my duvet, another one broke and was impossible to remove without heavy-duty metal clippers. At least I didn't have to tear the fabric of my comforter or duvet. I threw the rest away because I will not be putting them back on my duvet. Don't buy these.Original review (was two stars)Two of them broke immediately and there was no way to open them. I'm worried about when I need to take the others off my duvet - if they break there won't be any way to remove them without tearing my duvet cover or insert. The ones that didn't break look nice and are doing their job so far.

These were a big mistake. Two broke while putting them on. Three more broke trying to remove. I had to use pliers to get one off.Aside from that, they are too big for daily use.
