When I purchased this from a boutique pet store, the contents were fresh, and you could smell the salmon when you opened the bag. When I ordered, here, the contents were stale, dry, and stiff, with very little pleasant smell. My dogs still ate them up. But I want to find a better source for these

These (and the duck flavor of the same product) are my dog's favorite treat. They have a snappy outer coating (which is natural and edible, and does NOT need to be removed!) and soft, crumbly sausage inside, much like the human food equivalent of kielbasa, chorizo, etc. They're pretty easy to chew down, though, so they won't last long unless you stick them in another toy.If you have a Kong Goodie Bone, these sausages fit perfectly in the holes. You can easily break them into smaller treats (I halve them for my 15lb terrier mix) to hide them in other toys as well.They're a little bit expensive - and actually, I don't think the 22 oz pack is "value" at all, considering two small packages are often the same price or less, with greater total oz. Two packs can also give your dog more variety of flavors to try. :) In any case, I'd highly recommend these treats.

My dogs love these, but they are gone in less than two minutes -- a bit pricey for a treat that doesn't last, but they are definitely a favorite. I am grateful that the ingredients are limited as my coonhound is allergic to many ingredients commonly put in everything from dog treats to dog food.

Amazing product, put it in our dog's interactive toy and it's perfect to keep he occupied for a bit.

Having ordered this treat many times before, I was really disappointed this time. The salmon sticks were limp, very smelly, my dog refused to touch it. I will not be ordering this again.

My dog has severe food allergies. These treats are are made up of grain free goodness. My dogs love them. However I have 3 dogs so my plan was to take 1 stick and break it into 3 after reading another review how long they are. They are pretty long. My reason for 3 stars is it crumbles and makes the biggest mess when you try to break it. The inside is not solid it's dried. My dogs of course cleaned all the mess up because it's so tasty, but not a fan :/

Excellent dog treat. Can easily break into smaller pieces if needed.I actually call these "Stinkers" as they are quite malodourous, but heavenly to dogs.

Our dachshund absolutely loves seafood. These treats are salmon flavored, made in the USA and she really loves them. We do break them into smaller pieces for her.
