Wild War (Dirty Wild Book 2)

This is book 2 of Dirty Wild and the story is really hotting up now.More secrets are being revealed and I'm praying Jolie's dad finally gets what coming to him.

This is book two in The Dirty Wild Series and it continues Jolie and Cade's story. Omg this book takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions as you find out exactly what Cade and Jolie went through at the hands of Langdon Stark who is Jolie's father and Cade's step father and I was so angry that I wanted to find Stark and give him the same treatment that he dished out to Jolie and Cade and I wanted to really hurt Cade's mother for not doing anything to stop this madness that they went through and I found myself in tears many time's as I felt like I was there in the story with them and going through it with them and I can't hope and wait for Stark to get just what he deserves and omg what a explosive cliff hanger ending and I can't wait to read the final book. Lauren Paige is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats and I definitely recommend you read this series and you will not be disappointed.I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

This is the second book in this trilogy, but somehow I feel this should have been the first. The past is incredibly important, but I tended to skip through a bit too much, to get to the future. This is quite a dark section as both Cade and Julianne suffer terrific abuse both mental, physical and emotionally fro the hands of Stark. There is so much emotional turmoil described here, that you cringe at the description. The attachment between the two is also so endearing, that through the pain of love comes the hatred of others. The characters are so well described, and ast characters make a small cameo appearance. Now the wait for the final instalment. We leave on a total what!!!! Moment.

I enjoyed these two books but would just like to say i think the past should have come in the first book because it coming in the second did not keep me hooked. I found myself missing pages. I will buy the next book because the present is much more exciting oh and i would have given you 5 stars if the second book had not gone on about the past.

Laurelin Paige has truly mastered cliffhangers. Stunned. Absolutely taken by this book from start to finish (helps I had just re-read the first in trilogy). Just wow!

Wild War, is the 2nd book in the trilogy and to say it packs a punch is a huge under statement. This book should come with a major trigger warning, its far from pretty. Now you find out just what both Cade and Jolie went through at the hands of Jolies abusive father Langdon Stark. Told in a timehop back and forth fashion, which I'm not a big fan off but in this case kind of worked well, filling in the gaps from book 1 and you get an understanding of why Cade and Jolie are where they are today. Now you discover their past, how they met, the abuse they both suffered and just one of Jolies secrets (I figure there are more to come) are revealed. I have to say I had already guessed the major cliffhanger in the last line was coming. I do however think there is still a lot more to come.

After the ba bada BOOM!! finish in the first book Wild Rebel I couldn't wait to start this book, and I was not disappointed !!No one does it for me like this author, we get right back into the lives of Cade and Jolie, and OMG !!So many questions get answers and my emotions were utterly torn to shreds!!Having agreed to help Jolie in the last book, now we get to know the reasons why he would even have entertained her idea !! After all she broke his heart, a he lost a love he thought would last forever, a love he's never really got over.Brilliantly written, we get their pasts, pasts that have both moulded them to the people they are now, and my heart broke for them both !!I wasn't totally sure of Jolie in the first book, but when their traumatic past becomes clear my heart cracked open even wider !!My feelings from the first book were totally turned upside down, where i felt Jolie was a bit of "cold potato" her emotions locked away and was using the fact that Cade's soft spot would get her what she wanted, and now i understand why !!!Old hurts, old and new emotions, chemistry off the charts, and both so guarded, I kid you not, i was ready to combust the sexual tension gahhh !!!This couple so deserved the vengeance and retribution they were seeking and I happily cheered them on. I relished in it !!!We do end in a cliff hanger, and I'm literally salivating at what is to come next!!This author never disappoints, and this book has yet again surpassed all my expectations, definitely must reads !! I dare you to enter this Dirty World !!! You will not be disappointed !!!
