I needed to purchase a new eye cup after loosing the rubber piece around the view finder at an event. I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of money to replace it so I chose this eye cup. It fit very snugly on the Canon eye piece extender that I have installed on my camera. Also, I like the way that the rubber piece is put on this eye cup. It feels that the tolerances are much tighter than on the Canon branded one that came with my camera. Very happy with the product, price, and extremely fast shipping.

It's a little larger than the standard one that comes with Rebel cameras and doesn't clip all the way down (so a rough upward brush with the camera can knock it loose) but I went touring on foot for two weeks with the camera around my neck and it only came off once. Fortunately I found it on the ground. Might want to buy a few of these if you go with it, just in case.

I bought a used Canon EOS Rebel XSI from an online auction, and needed a replacement eyecup. After looking at reviews on Amazon, I decided on buying this one. I don't do any crazy photography, just needed a new eyecup, and this fit perfectly.

I bought this to replace the original one on my Canon Rebel XT. I can say that the replacement is actually better than the original. It had a nice tight fit. I didn't have to "ram" it on, but I know it won't just slip off if it's bumped. Well worth the price I paid (which was WAY cheaper than through the Canon website).

Ordered this eyecup for my Canon XSI as the description stated it would fit. Yes it does fit, tightly, and will not "snap" on and slides upward easily and off. Not recommended. Want to send it back, as it is worthless, but hopefully they just send one that will fit and snap on. Do not buy if you have an XSI. It does not fit right. Spend the extra and get the Canon eyecup.Update: Seller contacted me via email, said to "Pay" for the shipping back, and they would refund. The "Cost for the Shipping" is more than the crappy thing is worth...Thanks, but no thanks...This Eyecup "WILL" not FIT right on the XSI or the XT that I have.....Do not order this one, instead, pay the extra, and order the "Canon" Eyecup "EF"......Don't waste your money and time on this one...

Was a bit looser than the Canon one it replaced. Ended up falling off along with it's branded brother on vacation. But for the price it's a good deal

I purchased two of them because they always seem to slip off and vanish. Canon's design flaw. However it works as I expected, flawlessly. Thanks!
