Alpha Maddox (Wolves of Chaos Valley)

Some spoilers in review** As usual I really enjoy Emilia's writting, the story is well developed and intersting. You feel the heartbreaks and pain and new found hope and love. There are moments though where you stop and realize what a weak POS Maddox is. This is a enemies to lovers story but its not like they grew up together and Maddox bullied her through school. No this is a grown man who bullies and takes his anger and pain out on child while hypocitically raising his own little girl like a princess even though her mother is guilty of the same thing Jades dad is. He is supposed to be alpha and he acts like a spoiled chiled. That being said only really good writting can make someone feel this passionate about a character. I do recommend this book to anyone who enjoys these types of stories, its a good read with realistically flawed characters.

Alpha Maddox was amazing!! I couldn’t put it down once I began reading. Emilia’s writing is phenomenal and you knows how to write characters that you both love and hate, who want to see them succeed and get everything they yearn for, etc.In Alpha Maddox, we meet Jade, who does not believe in mates because of circumstances that happened in the past (I don’t want to give anything away). All she wants is to get money and get away from her pack and especially of those, including Maddox, who have condemned her for past mistakes that are not hers. She’s determined on going away and not even the Chaos, a one-time event that hasn’t happened in 9 years, where werewolves find their mates, will stop her from leaving and never looking back. But, what happens when the Chaos comes back after many years and she finds her mate, in the one and only Maddox? Will she want to give in the mate bond? Will she let go of the hurt and accept Maddox, the man who is responsible for some of that hurt as her mate?Alpha Maddox has been yearning to get a second chance mate after his first mate not only tainted their mate bond by cheating on him with his best friend, but rejecting him and abandoning their daughter Kylie and him. Maddox, is determined to find a mate, hoping that Chaos comes back, but is not willing to sacrifice his heart once again. He fears that a new mate will hurt him just like his first mate did and he can’t go through that again or put his daughter through something like that. So, what happens when the Chaos hits again and his finds a second chance mate in Jade, the girl he has hated for the past 9 years for a mistake that isn’t hers, but has secretly been craving to claim her as his? Will he give her a chance and himself a chance? Will he be able to ask for forgiveness and in return forgive himself for causing her pain?Will the both be able to let their guard down and be vulnerable enough to let each other in and finally find what they both have been yearning for in each other? What happens when his ex-mate comes back? What about the rogue who’s trying to claim Jade as his? You will have to read to find out!If you need any incentives to read Alpha Maddox, well there are some steamy scenes that y’all will love! 😜😈 Also, you will love Kylie; she’s Alpha Maddox daughter. She has autism, but she’s so adorable! She adores Jade and her red lipstick! Y’all will love her!!I loved Maddox & Jade’s story and I’m hoping that Emilia decides to visit these characters again in the future. Unfortunately there’s no epilogue, but there is a happy ending! I’m hoping that by the end of the Chaos of Valley series, all the authors involved decide to release some sort of compilation where we get to see these characters again in the future as the ultimate epilogue.

So I read this in one sitting. I didn't know, based on other reviews, if I would like it, but I did! I didnt like how wishy washy Maddox was, but he did redeem himself in the end. I liked how resilient Jade was and how she was able to just say what she wanted, to be loved. I think that, more than the mate bond, was what some Maddox up and made him realize he had been a douche canoe to her for 9 years.

This is definitely not a book for the faint of heart as was mentioned by the author at the beginning. Well written with good background information and characters.

I really enjoyed how this mated book didn't follow the standard girl find boy and know immediately they are meant to be forever. The chaos is a new take on finding your mate. The heart break that occurs is refreshing, but I still wish the female lead was stronger when the time comes to meet her mate after all the pain she went through. Still, I couldn't put the book down. Lots of twists and turns. Emotional rollercoaster at times, but it was a great book.

Emilia Rose has absolutely nailed it again. She grabs you from page one til the end. I always look forward to her work. Another round of applause for Emilia Rose I read this in one sitting and you will too. I can't put her books down not knowing what will happen next. You will enjoy this addition to the chaos series. Maddox, Kylie and Jade will have you in the feels. Buckle up for a fun and sexy ride.

Omg if u want a good book to read. Read this book because it is AMAZING she is an amazing author of u like this book then u would love her other books. She ropes u in and she will not let u put the book down it is that amazing go read it.

SO GOOD! I immediately got sucked in and couldn't set this book down. Alpha Maddox has a well developed storyline full of steam and action. I fell in love with the characters too. If you have a thing for sexy alphas, this is the book for you. Highly recommend.

The second book in the Wolves of Chaos valley group, and it was a fun read. With an Alphahole Male and a Kickbutt female it was a great enemies to lovers story, though i do think she forgave way too easily :P

Emilia Rose always writes a story you don’t want to put down, I couldn’t stop reading! My only complaint was I wish it had been a bit longer so some parts could have had more detail. Overall I recommend if you like shifter adult themed stories!

Not too bad. Enjoyed the hate-love chemistry between Jade n Alpha Maddox. Kylie was a nice bonus as well. Just wish their was more of it mayb a bonus epilogue of their future of the mate bond, new pups.

I loved this story. It was short, filled with action. There were some elements that were a little put together but I guess that happens when trying to fit a short story together.Loved the main heroine. She was strong and knew her own mind. He was stubborn and a little flawed.

I love all of Emilia’s books and this one has not disappointed, great story line, excellent steamy bits and strong characters! Thank you Emilia.
