Inevitable š¤š¤
Inevitable is the 1st in the Stonewood brothers series, and what an amazing introduction into this world. This book had everything. Some really hard story lines were tackled in this book and done in the most amazing way Shain Rose really took her time to make sure these themes were handled properly especially the abuse and trauma which in my experience are easily mishandled.Jax and Aubery bond over a traumatic event and a series of events that totally turn both their lives upside down and change them both as people forever.Fast forward a few years, and Jax is now a famous rockstar, and their paths cross again but Aubrey isn't that same shy timid girl and there is no way she is going to make things easy for him.Next follows a series is lies and secrets that nearly blow their lives up for a second time, but just as the title says, these 2 really were Inevitable!!!Shain Rose is the most amazing author!! You really feel like a part of this world, feel the pain of the characters and the bonds that have been made, and that is an absolute talent.100% recommend Author and Series.

Depth and devastation
I loved this book. I loved that it had depth and a backstory, there definitely are some TW including death, fires and DA.Aubrey Whitfield is the main character not just in the book but her life but somethings always been a little off.. well she lived next door to the Stonewood family and with the three Stonewood brothers she was in for a whirlwind.Through a devastating event Aubreys life was thrown through a loop. With bestfriend Jay at her side and first love Jax what could go wrong?Well there love, loss, heartbreak and some good old second chances. I love that the Stonewood are all successful and powerful in their own right and yet Aubrey holds her own.Her chosen family As an adult are amazing and such funny contrasts with her friends. The tight knit group of Bret, Katie, Jay, Rome and Vick was their anyhope of Jax making a come back?A lot of angst with Breys history with her father and a lot going on behind the scenes.Great book a bit steamy and lots to enjoy and delve into while reading.

Mixed thoughts
I really donāt know how to feel about this book. It started off so strong and I was so excited to see where the story would go, how theyād reconnect, what growth theyād made. How the beginning was written was so good and made me feel like I was there in the story with them. But as soon as you hit the 6 years later part of the book, I feel thatās where it spirals. Thereās basically no character development/growth just the same immaturity with more money involved. Their whole relationship would have been healthy if they just effing learned how to communicate!!! Theyāre supposed to be āinevitableā but reading this the only thing enviable is whiplash. I get why Jax did what he did, but it didnāt make them any less toxic. He didnāt do it for her, he did it for himself. I really wanted to love him as a character but personally some of the things he said gave me the ick and hurtful things he said, he never actually gave a heartfelt apology.

Liked but didnāt love!
I enjoyed this book, I read it over 2 days and did become a little obsessed but I just felt like something was missing⦠I canāt even put my finger on what. I liked it but I didnāt love it. I will read the other two books as the author is clearly talented and Jay is really intriguing me right now!

Loved it!
Adele's 25 album wrapped up in a story of love, heartbreak, turmoil, betrayal and reconciled love. I have never read a book that has made me here a whole album to each and every emotion I felt while reading. I am so looking forward to reading more of your books. šā¤ļø

Canāt get enough!!
Shain Rose never ceases to amaze me. I donāt know why I waited so long to read this but holy crap! The tension and the chemistry between Jax and Brey! So good. Iāve read all of Shainās other books but for some reason I hadnāt read the Stonewood series yet. Now I want to read her whole catalog again! I didnāt think I could love one of her characters more than Cade or Dom, but I absolutely loved Jax!! š„µ

angsty
This one was tough. Itās not my usual cup of tea, I read reverie first Iām glad because I may not have continued this series if I had read this story first. It was emotional and drama filled. I didnāt enjoy the characters or setting as much and itās perhaps because most of it is set in either high school or college era. I like Shain Rose overall I just didnāt enjoy Jax and Breyās story. It was a rollercoaster and at times so toxic. I am happy I read it so I had more context but my goodness I need some happiness right now.

a rollercoaster of events
Normally I fall in love with the men shain rose writes about. Jax didnt make it easy. It took some time to warm up to him. But I can say I finished this book with a big grin plasters on my face. š

š©š©Toxic
This book is about a toxic relationship thatās not a romance. The FL had no backbone at all. I didnāt like the ML at all. I donāt recommend that book.
