Omega 3
As with all Sanatogen products they are of good quality. The capsules are a little large, so if you have trouble swallowing they are not for you.

1000mg capsules of omega 3 fish oil
I have bought omega 3 fish oils from multiple high street retailers (both from pharmacies as well as supermarkets). These Sanatogen omega 3 fish oil capsules seem of comparable quality.Taking the recommended one capsule per day, the 180 capsules is enough for six months. The capsules are fairly large - but of the same size as other brands and makes of fish oil that I have tried. The capsules do not have a taste in the mouth or as I swallow. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you may wish to note that the capsule does contain beef gelatin. But if you don't mind, then these Sanatogen capsules should be fine for you.Overall, these seem to be perfectly decent capsules of fish oil. The main difference between these (which are made by Sanatogen) and the own-brand capsules made by retailers is the brand recognition. If you are willing to pay the price premium for the Sanatogen brand, then these may be exactly what you need.

Nearly 4 stars....
I think it's disappointing that Sanatogen, one of the respected brand names, still use beef gelatin to make their capsules. Ok so they're fish oil, but quite a few vegetarians still eat fish, and this puts them out of their choice. Daft and unnecessary. These are also deceptively expensive - £26 seems like quite a bargain for 180 capsules, effectively 6 months' supply. But the DHA and EPA levels are actually quite low, so you may well need 2 a day, depending on your own individual needs and what you're used to. So it's just 3 months' supply, not quite such a bargain.I've had more expensive capsules, sourced from small fish to avoid heavy metal contamination, with far higher essential levels, and I've had much cheaper ones, with similar levels of DHA and EPA to these. So I think they could do far better, both on price and essential ingredients, frankly. Bit disappointing all round.

Healthy Supplement
I like these omega capsules because they are really healthy brain function and eyes. I do not consume much fish so having omega 3 supplements available allows me to make sure that I am healthy. One thing I must note is that the capsules are not the smallest ones to take. I don’t have an issue with them but I know that some people can have very easily irritated throats and capsules of this size would be hardly manageable for them.Apart from that, I really hope that ‘sustainable’ fish oils used to produce these capsules are actually ‘sustainable’. I would love to know more about how this company ensures sustainability and what it means for them in the first place. The lack of this information and the size of these capsules made me give 4 stars for this product.

A Good Fish Oil Supplement From A Major Brand... But You Are Paying More For That Brand
This is a good one-a-day fish oil supplement from a well known brand. Each capsule is reasonably large but I had no trouble swallowing them and there was no aftertaste from them. The jar features a child proof lid which is always good to see. It's a good large 6 month supply but the cost is rather high when compared with other smaller brands and I think that is the main issue with these. You are getting a good quality fish oil (though I have seen better DHA and EPA per capsule elsewhere) but ultimately you are paying for the brand. This may give a bit of comfort and reassurance to some, but if it branding is not important to you, you could find equivalent or even better quality at a cheaper price elsewhere.
