PHILIPSHealthcare Respironics DreamWear Headgear with Arms

I started my CPAP with the Respironics DreamWear mask, which was okay but the strap kept sliding up the back of my skull and allowing the mask to slide around and leak. As soon as I replaced the strap with a DreamWear Headgear with Arms that problem immediately stopped. The arms curve around the ears so that the strap rests across the base of the skull, preventing it from accidentally sliding up during the night.The DreamWear mask was effective at treating my sleep apnea, but had an annoying jet of cold exhaust air shooting out of the front of the nosepiece. For that reason I switched to the Resmed Airfit N30i/P30i mask which has a dispersion filter on the exhaust port. Much more comfortable and quiet.I was happy to find that the Headgear with Arms fits perfectly on the Resmed mask. The arm has plastic tabs that fit into the slots in the mask frame. This makes it fast and easy to disassemble for cleaning, much easier than threading a velcro strap through the slot each time.Once the strap is set to the proper size by the wearer, the velcro never needs to be unhooked for normal on/off operation or for cleaning, so the velcro does not wear out. The corporate literature says that headgear should be replaced every six months, but I have been using it for 13 months and it still seems to be working work fine.

Easy to use and fits good.

In limbo with insurance and this is a great replacement. Getting the supplies piecemeal is so much cheaper that I don’t mind going out of pocket for it.

This was a perfect, brand replacement of the original that I was replacing. No issues. Exactly what I was looking for.

Way better than the new design. As advertised.

Cheaper than going thru a sleep center. Priced lower as well.
