This is a fantastic cable. I'm a bit of a cable junky and have purchased countless AV cables as well as custom made my own. I needed a quick stand-in cable for my new Hifiman headphones while I waited for the components to arrive to make my own. What showed up totally exceeded all of my expectations. So much so, I'm sticking with this instead of custom making my own. Some of the positives are sturdy connectors. The cable itself is a nice balance between flexible and structured. It bends easily, but isn't so soft that it tangles. It also has very little memory. So, once you straighten it out, it stays straight. The jacket is also fantastic. Many of the cheaper Amazon cables use a plastic weave jacket that feels cheap and picks up microphonics. The jacket on this cable is more fabric-like; similar to the paracord style jackets that are popular on custom cables. The only thing that I could possible knock it for is the lack of strain relief. Although, for my use, I prefer that. Cables with long strain relief don't work well for headphones as the connector/strain relief combo will often hit your shoulder because they stick so far out of the headphone jack. The cable is also sturdy enough that unless you're really pushing it to its limits, I don't see the lack of strain relief being a problem. All in all, I'd happily pay 5x the price for this cable. I'm picking up a second just as a backup.

I'm sure this cable works perfectly fine, if you get the right cable. I was buying it for a new amplifier for my husband's electronic drums so that he could connect his iPhone to the amp to play Apple Music. I'm not very savvy as far as sound equipment goes, and I didn't realize this is a stereo cord, and I needed mono for the amp (2 bands on the 1/4 inch jack means stereo, 1 band means mono). So when I plug it in, it's trying to give me stereo sound, but I get one side very loudly, and a very quiet little bit of the other side. I threw the packaging away since I thought I had the right item, so can't return, but I'm sure I can find something else to use this cord with. Mono cord has been ordered and is on the way. Check your inputs! Make sure you know what to purchase before buying.

This does not fully seat in my Audio Technica M50x BT2 headphones. The narrowed part before the TRS is not long enough. Also, it is stiff wire with a significant memory. It is also somewhat microphonic. This is not appropriate wire for headphones. It is also somewhat microphonic.

Easy to transport and easier to use. Made my announcing gig a lot easier to set up.

replacement cord for my son's guitar. According to friends that have them, cords will need to be replaced every 4 to 6 months depending on use.

I'm not a tech savvy person. But, this cord was just what I needed to get the music from my computer into the amplifier and speaker I'm using to teach square dance lessons.

A brilliant cable. I use this to connect my Blue Yeti Mic to the Focusrite 2i2 3rd Generation audio interface. It plugs directly into one of the XLR ports from the audio jac on the mic.
