ProgressiveRC iCharger 406Duo

It's expensive. It's the cadillac of chargers. It does everything they claim, very reliably. You can automate it over USB or serial port. It's very efficient (note; you really want to be running this off a 24v PSU, it's much happier) and keeps itself nicely temperature controlled.It's very well designed, it has endless features, it's got excellent precision, high power.About the only tiny fault I can find with it is that the main jog/push wheel can be awkward for navigation (and the UI in general is a bit odd to move around); you'll see what I mean but it's by no means a dealbreaker.Whatever you're charging this will do a superb job. It's probably more charger than you need, but...

Sweet Charger

This is by far the best charger I've ever owned. I've had Thunder Power, Hi-tec, and cell pro chargers...and they do not even come close to the functionality that the 406duo has. I am now able to charge my large 6s packs quickly and safely. And the balancing on charging/discharging is spot on...it consistently gives me .004 difference between highest and lowest cell. Excellent charger...I love it!

The Duo 406 is great little compact charger capable of charging up to 40 amps. Discharging at 40 amps is difficult because you need to add a 40 amp resistor bank to dissipate the heat from the charger. The Duo 4010 doesn't need this but requires an 80 amp 1000 watt power supply. I hooked up my 69 amp 900 watt power supply and the charger worked great. I had to download the instructions online to operate the charger because it comes with a tiny disc and I was afraid to load into my computer. The operation of the charger can be somewhat confusing at first but when you get it going it becomes pretty straight forward. I also added Tq wire charge leads with balancing connectors that are 16" long which makes it safer to keep the batteries away from the charger in a lipo sack.
