Q: What is the difference between the c270 & the c270i?

There seems to be a lot of difference. I own both and prefer the c270 but they both work. The c270i does have some advantages though. The C270i has a 3m pickup distance instead of 1.5m, a 2 USB line instead of 1.5m, it was built for Windows and Andrews 4.2 instead of just Windows (it's the worldwide edition), it has a white LED instead of a green one, and it has a spray on panel instead of a polished.

Q: Does this come with a stand?

This does not have a stand. It is more like a clip that will rest on the top of your screen. It is fully adjustable too. Mine has sat securely for months now.

Q: Says plug and play. I plugged it in, the device appears in my control panel, but it doesn't "play" -- how to get it started!

Open an application that uses video, for example: zoom, it should be the default camera. It was plug and play when I bought it and has been a great camera for meetings and teaching. If it doesnt open, you might need to go to video settings.

Q: Will this work on a Xbox?

Xbox One can use windows compatible USB webcams. This should work on an Xbox One
