I bought this for desk and I love it. Great build quality. Love the look. Reminds me of the lamp from Pixar. Great value for money.

I make press on nail sets as a hobby and side hustle, and needed a good, adjustable lamp for my work area. I like that it’s not bulky and it has a clamp so I can use as much table space as possible for all my supplies. I read the reviews that mentioned the power switch being located on the cord, so I went ahead and ordered some led bulbs that can be controlled via my phone or remote control so the cord can hide behind my desk, while still easily turning on and off (plus I can control the warmth and brightness too!)It’s a really sturdy lamp for the price. I couldn’t find anything this affordable and hefty in my local mass retail shops, and the clamp option completely sold me. If you don’t have an edge on your desk for the clamp, I’d look for something else because the base isn’t quite as stable.

The lamp was delivered in a big box and, when I opened it, the box that contained the lamp was open. I thought, "here we go, parts missing." but everything was there. It may have been a returned item but don't know either way. The lamp clamps to my table securely and the lamp, using the bulbs recommended, is very bright and the lamp adjusts well. It seems to be a good purchase so far.

Cord is very short and with the weighted base it is wobbly. Will work fine if not planning on moving it around a lot. I have not used the clamp.

Yes, I know it's like $20 and I shouldn't be surprised that it's not that great, but the photos are deceiving and I'm here to make sure you don't make the same mistake. The base is plastic with some kind of heavy weight inside to stabilize the lamp but probably mostly to give it the illusion of quality. The lamp doesn't actually securely fasten to either base - you just jam it into a hole in the plastic. The actual bulb socket is probably not up to spec - I tried several bulbs that didn't appear to work at first but needed to be screwed into the lamp very tightly and then they would turn on. This is hazardous in multiple ways - the bulb could shatter in your hand as you try to twist it in far enough, or there could be just enough of a gap between the base of the bulb and the electrical contact in the socket that sparks/arcing could occur. Lastly and probably worst of all, the shade/reflector is too small and a standard size light bulb sticks out of the bottom of the shade, completely defeating the purpose of the shade in the first place. You have to turn it completely away from yourself otherwise it's just shining right in your eyes the entire time.

It is a lot different than the picture. I guess it is my fault that I bought this junk. It is mostly made of plastic and just feels like cheep junk. I bought this to go on my rolling work table, but it is just not big enough or sturdy enough. I would not recomend this if you want to put it in a workshop. It would be ok for a inside of house application because it does work.

Perfect!!!, I purchased this for in my shop when I'm working on something on my bench or when I'm useing my dewalt 8 inch bench grinder..... all probably be mounting it on my wall so it can be folded up out of the way when i dont need it.... I'd recommend this to anyone that wants extra light when there working on something or what have you...

Not much of a surprise here, it's just an ordinary and cheap little generic lamp.Only complaint I have is that the tightness of the adjustable arm is too high, especially if you intend on having the arm outstretched as far as it can go, as it keeps wanting to snap back into place. I solved that issue by just unhooking the springs on one side to reduce the tension.The universal clamp base that's included is also fairly convenient for clamping it onto things at odd angles, though the all plastic construction is kind of flimsy and doesn't clamp on as strong as it would if it were made of metal or something. The normal base is perfectly fine, not super heavy but it'll keep the lamp from falling over.

This desk lamp is great for the price. It comes in 2 pieces, assembling the pole into the base is not an easy task, you really need to work at it. Once it's assembled, it's not coming apart.I use it as a therapy lamp and so the light bulb is pretty heavy and depending on the positioning of the lamp, it sometimes tends to tilt over. When used with a normal light bulb, theirs no problem.All in all, I'm very satisfied with it. It looks nice and works great, so much so that I bought another one.

It is good but it’s wire is to short to reach the socket. And table holder is not strong enough to give a steady grip but metallic base of this lamp is very good.
