Makes Lovely Bread with no gluten problems for me
I'm gluten intolerant (not celiac), and this flour made the most delicious bread I've ever made. We traveled in Europe and I decided I would enjoy my vacation and the wonderful French breads available - and suffered no inflammation while there. After some research, I learned that American flour is made from wheat designed to produce extra-fluffy breads that Americans enjoy. European flour comes from different wheat strains. This Italian flour is pricey, but one 2.2 lb. package makes two large loaves of bread. That comes to about $3.50 per loaf, much less than the $7.00 per loaf gluten-free cardboard I've been buying at my local grocery store.

Best flour I've ever used.
Bought the twin pack and so far I've made pizza, burger buns (that don't fall apart) roasted tomato focaccia, cheddar biscuits, pasta, loafs for meatball parm subs, a Dutch Baby and chocolate cupcakes. Everything is so fluffy like eating a cloud, with a crispy crust but still sturdy. I can't believe I've been missing out for so long! Easy to use and not temperamental like American flour.ALSO, I usually get puffy the next morning from flour, with a hangover type feeling. I feel "normal" after eating this product! I also usually gain a pound or two after eating American flour (maybe inflamation), and that doesn't happen after eating this Italian flour.Thank you to all the reviewers on Amazon who convinced me to try it! You have literally made my life better!

I can eat this flour!
I can't have wheat or gluten. I decided to try this flour because I've heard of people who can't eat flour or gluten from the U.S. But can have flour from Europe. I made bagels and had one every day for a week and I felt fine! Plus for the amount you get it's cheaper than gluten free flour. I used 6 cups already and I still haven't opened the second bag yet.

Amazing!!
Amazing!!! It makes THE BEST artisan bread EVER!!! Never will use another flour for bread. Just wish it was a little less expensive. Have also tried other flours, including another type of Italian flour and a french flour. Both were fantastic but this flour is .. my go to flour. It's better than anything out there! Might have to test out pasta too with it after reading anothers comment on it :) Also makes amazing pizza crust too :)

Silky Pasta!
In the last few months I have discovered the joys of making homemade pasta. I have used other brands of flour, but this brand makes incredibly silky, melt-in-your-mouth textured pasta. The recipe is simple – a cup or so of this flour, a couple of organic eggs, and just a touch of olive oil (a la Mario Batali, who would know) and you'll never buy the dried stuff again.Highly recommended!

I haven't eaten any wheat for a while because it my making me sick & decided to try this. I made pizza dough and had & crossed my fingers. Not only did the dough come out great, but now I can eat wheat again if I use this product!

Great flour but expensive
Best flour for French bread; the sponge was well-formed and bright white. I found the best outcomes from the bread totally depends on the quality of flour and Pivetti delivers the best loaf. The 4-star rating was because of price ... it’s a pity Pivetti is too pricy for everyday bread baking.

Expensive but makes the best pastries
Makes the best pastries, tender with wonderful flavor. Use 1/2 this and 1/2 regular flour for tender pizza dough.
