...at this price. It's really just the same as any other bottle, but they sell it cheaper.SURVIVAL?Yes. I put it in my fire several times. This morning, I decided to put it in and leave it in for an hour. It boiled off about half of the water, then I got bored. I don't think the steel will degrade any time soon.Next test... It's too warm at the moment, but tonight, I'm going to fill it with hot water and use it as a hot water bottle to see if it leaks -- i'll do this inside my house. I've been too scared to do that while camping because if it leaks, being wet in freezing temps is dangerous.I know needing water in a survival situation is rare, but ceteris paribus, steel is much better than plastic.Do NOT use the vacuum/insulated bottle to attempt to boil water. Only single-wall steel.tl;dr (lol, too late): just as good as any other bottle, but cheaper.

I purchased a different brand 18 oz bottle and purchased these because the silicon ones I purchased didn't have a loop. I knew my kids would like the loop. These are really nice, they fit perfectly and are easy to get on and off. I am not sure if they keep my green drinks cold for longer but they cover the bottle all the way to the top which I like as well.

For sub$15. They're probably like any other bottle but very good value. I boil water in them without durability or taste issues

Great sleeves, offer wonderful protection for my glass water bottles, kinda pricey but worth it.good quality and holds up great- i actually threw one in the washing maching and it was find.strap is very sturdy and great for using on a belt or clip.highly recommend

Great bottle, light weight, easy to carry and fill.but get the one with the straw. I have both and this one is hard to drink from, hard to open, hard to close, sometimes it leaks because I don’t manage to close it properly.The one with the straw gets 5 stars from me!

Great replacement for plastic water bottles when bicycling. The clothe sleeves fit great in bicycle water bottle cages with some slight adjustment. Water tastes great.
