The subwoofer's got a great thump to it
I purchased this kit to replace the factory Ford/Kicker subwoofer system in my 2016 F-150. The previous system just wasn't dialed in properly (in my opinion), and I was looking for something with a little more thump and more ability to adjust the sound. This subwoofer/amp combo was exactly what I wanted from the factory system. The subwoofer's got a great thump to it, and it fits under the rear seat of the SuperCrew perfectly (and would fit behind the rear seat too... if you cut the carpet/insulation out). The amp is fairly small, has the signal-sensing turn-on feature (no need to run a remote wire to the fuse panel), some adjustment for gain and low frequency cut-off, and has the remote bass level adjustment dial that runs back up to the dash. I still have some fine tuning to do, but I'm pretty happy with it initially. The one thing I am not thrilled with is the wiring kit. It just seems cheap. I had a lot of trouble crimping the connector to the ground wire, the 12-Gauge wire included to connect the amp to the sub doesn't seem like 12-Gauge to me... and has an elastic-type coating on it that is nearly impossible to strip off without pulling half the wire strands out with it (I ended up using some 10-Gauge speaker wire I had laying around instead), and I cracked the fuse holder attempting to bolt it to a stud on the firewall. Because I used the rear speaker leads, the RCA cables were not necessary, nor was the remote turn-on wire. I had a lot of my own connectors and such, so I didn't really use much of what was supplied, and the 17 feet of supplied 4-Gauge was barely long enough to make it back to my amp (although that isn't a fault of this kit).In hindsight, I would probably buy the amp and the subwoofer separately (I think it was a smidge cheaper to go that route anyways), and then just pick up the stuff I don't have laying around my garage locally. However, this is a nice-sounding addition to the factory system, and it was nice having everything needed to hook it up arrive all in one box.TK

Haven't gotten my new head unit yet so have not heard the quality but there needs to be a revision is the way you secure it to the car. When upright it kinda swings back and forth because of the carpeting. Going to go to lowes this weekend and get a few extra bracket to shore it up.

Outstanding package
I looked for a long time at many reviews of other products. I installed this tonight in my 2012 Toyota Tundra. I was blown away at how powerful the system was. It actually has a little too much power for me. It sounds amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was much quicker than quoted. It was here in 2 days. I look forward to many years of beautiful music😎

The amp works great but the speaker was not what I thought it ...
The amp works great but the speaker was not what I thought it was going to be it can't hold 1600 Watts of power so if you don't get the speaker get a smaller wattage and it may work out for you because I already blew the speaker with this amp

It worked fine. Just wish it had more bass
After 5 months of having it installed the spring loaded jack popped off. I couldn't fix it myself so I had to buy a replacement. Other than that, It worked fine. Just wish it had more bass. So for a beginner bass system, I'd say it's a good start

Not bad for such a little box
Not bad for such a little box. It's like the size of a printer. Fit perfect in the little bit of room i had. Bass is pretty decent

Perfect combo
If you could pair it with 12" go with it. 10" is perfect for trucks or minivan. It is a bit weak if that 10" is sitting in the trunk. Overall it is a perfect pair.

Sounds great!
I bought this for my 18 year old son for Christmas! It's great! He just had it installed professionally and the company that installed the stereo even said it was a nice system.
