They absorb blood well. Kinda bulky so you can't really wear them under tight clothes. I would recommend washing under cold water to get out excess blood and then soaking them overnight in detergent and water. Air dry works best.

I love these! They are great for overnight protection with the tossing and turning. I haven't had any super heavy days yet as my cycle is still adjusting after giving birth and I am still breastfeeding and taking the mini pill but I have no doubt they will be great. They are nice and soft too.
