Pacidose. INVENTED by a Doctor. INSPIRIED by a Daughter. Up to 50% of babies are incorrectly dosed when administered medication due to inaccurate dosing mechanisms, techniques and rejection. Pacidose helps by ensuring your child gets the right dose of medicine without the fuss. A standard oral syringe allows for accurate measurements and connects Pacidose which looks a feels just like your child’s favorite pacifier. Pacidose has a narrow tube down the center of the nipple that prevents wasted medicine. Medicine is delivered to the back of the tongue, where there are fewer taste buds, decreasing the chance of rejection. To use Pacidose: Measure the proper dose of medicine into the syringe, then check the amount again. If you have questions call your doctor or pharmacist. Attach the oral syringe to Pacidose. Position your child in your lap facing away from you. Introduce Pacidose into his/her mouth and after your baby starts to suck, slowly push the syringe plunger in. Stop and make sure your baby is swallowing before giving more. If your child has a difficult time with pacifiers and or medication, take the syringe off and dip Pacidose into another liquid. Let your child taste it and play with Pacidose under your supervision. Once Pacidose is a familiar object then attach the syringe and give medicine through it. From the Manufacturer: RINSE Pacidose and syringe with water. DO NOT use the dishwasher. NEVER leave Pacidose alone with your child. IT IS NOT a pacifier, it is a MEDICAL DEVICE. Discard if you see any signs of damage or weakness. Product works for kids up to 5 years old.

but it worked out great since the nipple is so long that she doesn’t ...
This is a life saver. My newborn was prescribed Zantac, but she refused to take it from a normal syringe and most of the medicine was being spit out. I accidentally bought the 18+ month pacidose for my 2 month old, but it worked out great since the nipple is so long that she doesn’t even taste the medicine at all. I put this in her mouth and squeeze just a small amount at first, and that usually gets her to suck on the pacifier, and then I push the rest of the medicine in with no problem. I give her a minute to swallow everything and then replace with a normal pacifier. Thank goodness for this product! I will say that the pacifier part seems like it won’t hold up well after a few months.

She Wasn't Having It!
This pacifer is a great idea, just not for my 19 month old. She is too smart to be fooled by this. I took the pacifier out she already had in her mouth and stuck the pacidose in, before I got it in good, she saw the syringe took the pacifier out pulled the syringe out and put the pacifier back in her mouth. I tried to reattach while it was in her mouth. She wasn't having it! I tried again when she fell asleep. She was blocking like a professional boxer. Maybe if she was younger this may have worked not today.

Works Great
I absolutely love the ease of using this. My daughter still fights me but it gets the medicine past her gag reflex so she doesn’t throw up. I do wish that the syringe that came with it was more then 5 ml. I bought this when my daughter had an earache and she had to take 6 1/2 ml of her medication, but any syringe works with it so I just used the one the pharmacy gave us.

Lifesaver for giving meds!
I can’t recommend PaciDose enough. My daughter gets oral meds 2x a day and I was pulling my hair out until I found this miracle worker. She’s still not impressed, but soooooooooo much easier than baby wrangling.

Highly recommend
Wow!! This is perfect for my one year old who wasn't taking meds from a syringe or dose cup (he would just dribble it out). This pacifier has a tube and it sends the medicine right to the back of his throat so he immediately has to swallow it. He doesn't even mind it! He takes it every time.I have to admit I was hesitant to pay the 15 or so dollars, but the item had solid ratings and I didn't want to buy something for $5 that would not work. Also I liked that it had size choices, that was ultimately the deciding factor for me. I wanted it to be the right size for his mouth so that he would take it.I was still worried that it wouldn't live up to the reviews, but I am very impressed with it. I almost never review anything, but this deserved a review. Thank you! Great product!

Great product!!!
I have a 7 week old baby boy who is unfortunately suffering from severe colic and is under several different medications. The syringe that is offered at the pharmacy wasn't soft and when he would jerk around he would hurt his mouth. I was looking for any options out there as what I had already purchased didn't work. As soon as I used this with my baby he was taking all his medicine, actually without me forcing him to, he would suck it in on his own. I love how happy he is when I give it to him, I can't thank you enough.

Great product, despite what our son thinks
I really liked the concept, but our son wanted nothing to do with it. We were having trouble giving him his antibiotic and hoped this would make things easier. But he caught on very quickly and would still spit out the medicine. Nothing against the product itself but it just doesn't work for us.

So easy to use! Works great!
My daughter is almost 3 months old and we have been supplementing her with extra fat from my breast milk twice a day. This device has mad it sooo much easier than using a syringe and pushing a little then quickly giving a pacifier. This 20 minute process has now become like 5 minutes! I’m going to buy another one right away!
