Portland Beard Company - Timber Beard Oil - Scented 1 oz. - Timber Sandalwood Aroma Oil

The oil combination that makes up this product is a great blend. The scent was somewhat reminiscent of the jokes about Le Croix drinks. It smelled like it had been in a truck that passed by a tree at some point in its journey. The oil itself is smooth and well blended. I was just expecting more in the scent category since it is "Timber" by the Portland Beard Oil Co.

On the plus side, this product arrived on time and is a nice big bottle that was packaged well. It conditions and softens my beard well. On the minus side, this product is alleged to be scented with sandalwood, which is one of my favorite scents. Unfortunately, this oil doesn't smell even remotely like sandalwood. It's more of an evergreen / pine aroma which was a bit of a shock.

This is my second purchase from PBC and i have to say that the scent is "interesting". I am still not sure if i like the scent but for now i will continue to use the dagner product which feels amazing on my beard and smells Twice as nice.

I didn't really notice that it improved the softness or manageability of my beard but it did give it a nice sheen and a nice manly aromatic scent. Packaging was really nice but overall just a tad pricey for what it is, oil.

Looks nice in the bottle, comes in a little cloth bag. Bought this for my son for his birthday coming up at the end of the month. Went over to visit him yesterday and found that he'd shaved off his beard.

If there is a hint of sandalwood, it's like a thimble on the horizon.As a kid, every year I would help saw and split various kinds of hardwood logs for the wood stove so I am familiar with how wood smells when it's freshly cut, seasoning and ready to burn next winter.This is simply an overpriced bottle of urine-colored disappointment which will serve as an object lesson of what occurs when I fail to properly research an item. At the very least, something good may come of throwing away $20.

I love the way this makes his beard feel. It is noticeably softer to my face and lips. It also give the man a little moisturizer on his face. I told him he needed to use it because he was getting beard dander in the winter. He uses it everyday and the beard and face are softer and fell better to the touch. If you can't get them to take care of their skin any other way, this works wonders.

I wasn't as into the smell as I thought I would be. It's kinda musky/earthy as opposed to clean/earthy, but if you like musky you'll like this!
