This is not the right sized belt for the Toro Time cutter MX 2550 belt sizing is more than its length, it's also the amount to torque or grip. The chirp you hear when you engage the blades is the belt slipping because it lacks the contact surface area to withstand the torque of start up, it will do the same in tall grass. The friction causes high heat and melts the belts and they start chunking. The belt should completely fill the V in the pulley, it should be level when properly tensioned.

Correct size and looked great. Stretched after 2 uses and cracked. Disappointed, it looked like a really good belt. My yard is about 1 acre so not too big.

I bought 2 of these. I installed 1 and it failed in less than a minute. The second is still working but I will not buy these again.

This belt is advertised as a replacement for 119-8820 but it is way too big. Buyer beware!
